I am sitting here and pondering the amount of damage this man and his co-conspirators did to the US and probably the world.  Stuff that goes beyond creating the virus. Stuff that happened during and because of lockdowns.  This is by no means a comprehensive list.

- Businesses failed and are continuing to do so

-decline of numerous mental health markers for the entire society

- increased suicide rates, especially amongst young people

- increased substance abuse stats including OD deaths and addiction.

- increase in homelessness

- Social isolation and all the negatives that come with it for old and young alike.  My mother's Alzheimer's seemed to rapidly accelerate during lockdowns.

- Kid's ability to socialize, read social cues, etc. has not been developed.  Anecdotal: High school kids are way less emotionally mature than before 2020.

- Ability to read and write amongst school children has been drastically diminished.

Etc., etc., etc.

This is stuff that I see every day.

All from a couple years of various types of lockdowns and masking.  The guy and his ilk had no clue as to what he was doing.  He was winging it and the country, particularly children, suffered and continue to do do.  He didn't even follow his own rules.  Then he perjured himself.

Of course he needed a pardon.

This!!

I'll never get over the fact that he caused so many kids/young adults to miss out on once in a lifetime events (sports, graduation, etc.), how he devastated small businesses, and how people couldn't be there for the death/birth of loved ones.  He should be sued into the poor house along with all the state agencies who followed and enacted his crazy mandates.

Whoa, whoa, pump the brakes on created the virus. I have listened to you and others go on and on about how Trump has not been convicted of _________. Even when he was convicted. And now you want to go with created the virus just because one Rutgers professors' reading of a document that is not supported by anyone else who read the document. Get the hell outta here.

"Stuff that goes beyond creating the virus."

Are words difficult?

You think that Fauci was completely honest and on the level with his guidelines and mandates?  Did he follow them himself?

And Trump, WAS NOT a convicted felon.  Now he is.  Until it is reversed.

You know what else he is? YOUR president.

(and no, I don't think a bureaucrat is good enough a scientist to create the dumb virus)

Are words difficult? Stick to numbers, maybe?

Unlike Trump and many of his followers, I do not deny reality. I know he is my President.

All forms of the "you can't read" attempt at gotchas are lost on me. I have heard more compelling arguments on playgrounds.

As for guidelines and mandates, you will take note that is not what I commented on. Attempts to change the subject are also not interesting to me.

Wait....you are actually expecting consistency around here?  Hypocrisy is literally the most overall consistent theme on this board.

But have you read more compelling arguments on playgrounds?

I don't care as much that Fauci may have funded a lab that created the virus, which is what I said.  I care about his reaction.  And I was someone who mostly followed the lockdown rules and took the vax.

The Fauci-led reaction to the disease has been nothing short of catastrophic.

But you brought up Trump? Apparently interesting when YOU do it?

You are !00 percent correct. But Biden has pardoned him. This is a sad day for America for justice.

I am not at all surprised that you do not understand the difference.

I am not all that surprised that you play the self-righteous angle.

Then again, I am also not overly surprised at your stance and your attack on me and your defense of Saint Fauci.

That's what I don't understand...no matter what side of the spectrum you vote on, how people can defend this guy...he did more harm to the US based on policy/mandates than any other president in the last 20 years.
