I just did a search on how many cyber trucks have been sold.   According to the google, 27k+ have been sold.   What a bunch of morons is all I have to say.   There are a few that I see as I drive around.   There are a few tings against it:

1.   Ugliest vehicle ever made.   Even a panzer has more pizzazz.

2.  It is not a truck really, it cannot replace a normal pickup in practice.

3. At $80k a pop, not worth the money.   Especially at twice the cost of a normal pickup.

I won't be buying one soon.  We have a Palisade that doubles as our pickup truck.   Stuff stays dry and we can haul grandkids.

Exactly. Like an Apple Watch. I think the Hermes model sells for over $1k new, $2k used if you can’t wait? There’s always a market. Air Jordan’s? People get mugged for them.

Still 2.6 seconds because the trailer has its own battery and 4 more motors.

Cybertruck takes you from 0-60 in 2.6 seconds. Better than a Lamborghini.

Rich Boy Toy.  Fun to have the option to spend your money on if you win the lottery or sell your App for millions of dollars or can hit a 95 mph fastball.  Like a Rolex or a yacht or a trophy wife - mostly useless for society as a whole.

not at all useless in a society where you are judged less on what you do for the society and more on being able to acquire those things.....

It’s all in fun boys. Everyone on this forum probably has a smartphone worth hundreds of dollars (with most of the components made in China). And don’t tell me you movie lovers don’t enjoy watching on a big screen with surround sound when you aren’t saving kittens stuck in trees.

All my old PA hillbilly buddies love to make negative comments about the cyber trucks.  Motivates me to buy one solely to troll them.

People can buy what they want.   I think though that it is not for the utility of the machine.   Rather it is a status symbol.   I have money and I can buy this stupid looking thing because I can.

Different than that Smart car.   It is stupid looking but is not near as costly.
