The Democrats are very desperate to keep every (Potential) voter they can. Especially now that voter I.D. is being pushed really hard in most normal states. The Democrats voter base continues to shrink at an alarming pace, and they know it. Desperation is starting to settle in. They are losing their power and their relevance.

How can these people look themselves in the mirror...man!  The mental gymnastics that they must be playing in their head to rationalize not getting these sick criminals out of our country just so they get votes.

We don’t need term limits 🙂   Seriously. It’s more about them keeping power and their corruption than the constituents.   I watch these town hall videos where Chicago democrats scream at mayor Johnson all day about this and he just stands there with that dumb look on his face.   I didn’t think anyone could be a worse mayor than the one before him.  She was terrible.    Somehow he is worse.

The situation is crazy when citizen legislators vote against the interests of the citizens.

What is in the interest of the citizens to keep illegal alien felons in the country?

This is so typical of Washington DC. They create problems, crises and catastrophes through stupidity. The general average citizen can see the ramifications of what they want to do, easily. Then after it is nearly impossible to fix, they want to come to the rescue to help fix it.

I thought they already did a bill about deporting illegal felons.  Isn't that so?   Or is this the Senate vote?

This was the house vote...funny part is two different sites are reporting different number of D's who voted against the bill.

House Passes Bill to Deport Immigrants Convicted of Violence Against Women - The New York Times

145 House Dems vote against bill to deport migrants who commit sexual assault | Fox News

From the NYTimes articel posted:

"Many Democrats argued that the measure could actually harm immigrants who are victims of domestic crimes. There is no exception for people who fight back in self-defense against their abusers, or have been accused by their abusers of violence themselves, as there is in current statute. Several domestic violence victims advocacy groups have also opposed the legislation on those grounds."

That combined with the fact that there is already a very similar law on the books (with a narrower definition of domestic violence) suggests the issue is one of definitions.

That makes a whole lot more sense than every single Dem blah, blah, blah Outrage. blah, blah, blah.

And by the way, every single Dem did not vote against the measure. 61 voted for. But Outrage is more fun than facts.

The above was on the first page on a google search for "vote against deportation bill".  Not too many MSM outlets represented.   This must be against DEI methods as the majority of MSM is not represented.

But enough voted against it to not have it pass?

There were enough normal Ds that it passed quite easily.   But that fact that 158 Ds voted against it is a testament to how much the Ds hate the country and love illegal aliens more.

The excuse is that a victim of sexual assault, if here illegally, would get caught up in deportation.  He/she should not be here in the first place.   I have no issue with this.

blah blah blah definitions blah blah blah.....should or shouldn't illegal's be deported if they are convicted of sex crimes???

And it's probably pretty safe to say that all the Dem's who voted against it didn't do it because of "definitions"

Does, or does not, a law already exist on the books to do just that?

Kind of like gun laws or no?    Or illegal immigration?

Does, or does not, a law/regulation/procedure already exist on the books to legally immigrate into our country?

What point do we think we’re making?

It is not on the government to fix their family problems; that's on the alien. If they want to be with their kids, they should take them and leave.

We need to kick out the illegals and keep them out. Put real effort into streamlining the legal immigration system. Let's make it work for those who follow the rules, not for those who break them.
