No, I have no desire to start at the top of the thread. It is easier to ask.  My question was answered.  And now I have moved on.  Carry on.

Is it true Bo put his right foot in?

Anyone know what they were doing at the dual? Was this a visit, or did Ok St fly the family out? I can't imagine they would pay for a trip to Stillwater for a single dual.

"Oklahoma State’s latest move in the race for a wrestling prodigy is sending shockwaves through the NCAA landscape. With the clock ticking on one of the most highly anticipated recruitment decisions in recent memory, the stakes have never been higher. This isn’t just about bringing in a top recruit; it’s about making a statement. A $17,000 investment, aimed at securing Bo Bassett—the 19-year-old wrestler whose every move has been tracked by fans and analysts alike—has left college wrestling fans on the edge of their seats.
Bassett has spent months teasing his choice on social media, building up excitement around his recruitment journey. At the center of it all is a question: Where will he go? With over 40 teammates in tow, Bassett is headed to Stillwater, Oklahoma, for the National Duals, a competition that could influence his final decision. But this visit is more than just a typical recruiting pitch. Oklahoma State is covering the costs of flights for Bassett and his entire group—$17,000 worth of investment in what could be a game-changing move for the program.
For Bassett, the pressure is mounting. After narrowing down his list of colleges from 80 to just a few, his decision is looming large. Programs like Penn State, Iowa, and Ohio State have all thrown their hats in the ring, but Bassett has made it clear he’s not rushing into anything. He’s looking for a place to call home, a place where he can build his legacy. The suspense is palpable, and fans are hanging on every social media post, wondering if this weekend in Stillwater will finally push him to make a choice.
Bassett is more than just a wrestler; he’s a generational talent with the potential to reshape any program he joins. With schools pulling out all the stops, it’s clear that his decision will have ripple effects not only on the mat but in the very culture of NCAA wrestling. Whatever the outcome, one thing is for sure—Bo Bassett’s next move will change the game."

buddy (not Rich) shared this with me this morning:

"At that conference I went to, they told us that ChatGPT is like an Ivy League intern. Very very smart, but will exaggerate and is prone to stretch facts and lie occasionally🤣🤣"

Bassetts birthday is August, 2006 he is 18 I may lose my mind if I see his age mentioned again he will graduate at 19 turn 20 before his freshman year. Yes he is old but its not something that has not been done before and will be done again.

Rudis has his birthday as 1/5/2007. I hope you don't lose your mind at my mentioning of his age again. But this furthers the cause that he will a year older than most when he graduates, but that's not that odd, and not even remotely odd in the wrestling world.. especially when talking about kids that are undersized for high school when they are in junior high.

This discussion already happened a few pages back.  IIRC, Rudis had his birthday wrong.

That sounds more like a managing director than an intern.

The article above can be generated with a single sentence prompt.

These couple small quotes from above is the exact reason Bo shouldn’t choose Penn State or Iowa or Okie State.
