mspart Posted October 24 Author Posted October 24 Local radio guy really likes the harmonica player for WAR, Lee Oskar. He lives just north of Seattle as an aside. I really like Robert Plant but there are others. I love a good growling harmonica, it is a great addition to the music. mspart

That's just so bad ass. Maybe the most talented harmonica player in a rock band is John Popper of Blues Traveler. But he did that and vocals, and never did both at the same time. Cheers!

mspart Posted October 25 Author Posted October 25 Yeah, I like Neil Young's harmonica playing. Is it the best. I don't think so. But it is good. The guy from blues traveler is a monster harmonica player, but it is just too much and isn't much compelling after a 15 seconds or so. Just fast and the same thing. But he is good no doubt. The way he hits single notes is pretty amazing. mspart 1
