Starocci can't be a lock up 1 or 2 weight classes.  Especially with Keck at 184.

I thought the gauntlet had it all over Starocci last year when he had only one good leg. Turned out he made them all wilt just by showing up. Call the man Carter "Soze" Starocci.

unless Messenbrink is at trials for 70kg which I believe has been said he wont be he will not be at 157 either Im guessing Levi is at 174 or red shirts 149 will be SVN and 157 Kasak. Lilledahl pushes for a major against Cruz. Caliendo will also be the guy at 165 Pk either sucks down to 157 and wrestles off Teemer or beats gable at 174 or he rides the pine.

Very true. But might be his last to start for PSU, with the log jams they have. Guess I meant more of a "prove it" year, if still talking NFL terms.

There are some major homer picks here, and I am a Penn State homer. Teemer should be favored over Kasak given he placed higher (2nd) and Kasak is coming up a weight.  Arnold/Kennedy are way more proven than Facundo in folkstyle.  I would also favor Brands over Barr due to experience.  Brands is a 8th year senior.  Kerk/Keuter will not be bonus points.  Kerk by dec.

Just be happy I didn't have Davis pulling a YEETYEET on Ayala at 133, Mr. Turdbiscuit Supremo.

Homer my ass.  Sell your trash elsewhere.

Kerk pulled a bonus on him last year.

Ayala had some difficulty with DeAugustino's leg riding.  I would imagine Nagao would also present some problems unless Drake has fixed this issue.

157 - Teemer over Kasak Decison (big 157 vs tiny 157 I could see Kasak shooting himself out of the match and adjusting later)

165 - MM over Caliendo Major (if its rec hall maybe tech)

174 - Arnold over Facundo Decision (this match is a toss-up it depends if Facundo can generate like he does in free which he has not shown he can)

Josh Barr wrestles nothing like Facundo and I don't know how you'd pick Parco when he's wrestled SVN twice and has shown no ability to beat him.  Even if SVN has ring rust

Is that how it works? Thanks for letting us know. I just meant I doubt Mr. Nichols is going to be thrilled to write a 1.5 milly check when the team still only finishes 3rd.

It was a one score match the last time they wrestled from a 50/50 feet to back situation. Paro is in a new training environment and SVN is coming off his third almost year long layoff since HS. Barr and Facundo both operate from collar ties and like outside step high c's and only seem to let their offense go occasionally.

They've wrestled twice and Parco didnt have the strength or technique to break through SVN's defense.  I don't care if SVN has the flu and is rusty. Parco can't score on him.  Van Ness has elite defense.

Operating from the collar tie and high crotches aren't exclusive to Barr and Facundo.  Bar attacks and re-attacks.  Facundo sits in his stance and likes to watch paint dry.

Nagao actually was very ineffective with leg riding last season.  I think he's moved away from it.

Actually, they are both from the same HS and both shoot straight on instead of finding angles.  They are similar in those regards.
