Basch reporting they have a “big name on the senior level” coming in.  Minnow saying it’s RBY.

Separate note, this came up when I searched Cowboy RTC on x.  Not a great look if true:

RBY ?

That seems to be the rumor.  I guess they offered to show him the par terre starting position

RBY, Gilman, DT, Kennedy all trained or worked together before at NLWC so I'm wondering how things will be different? Gilman had a great career but RBY, despite wrestling more freestyle than Spencer Lee since entering college, had a suboptimal Olympics.

This is exciting for Cowboy RTC but I'm just not sure how this changes anything for RBY. Is he going to become LESS defensive training with Fix?

I am guessing RBY's bank balance will be different.

But, I suspect the real motivation for Taylor is that he is taking a page from his mentor's playbook. I think I heard Sanderson say that step one of building a college program is to build an RTC. If so, this move is less about RBY or Fix individually, but how they collectively help with college recruiting.

Drowning in data, but thirsting for knowledge

Just speculation but I’d imagine Gilman and RBY hadn’t practiced together much since RBY graduated

Obviously this is a great get for Cowboy RTC. Any time you can get an Olympian and mutli time national champion, that is great. RBY has just wrestled a handful of senior level matches in freestyle. I am going to withhold judgement of acting like his freestyle career is a colossal failure for a bit.

RBY announcement....then they follow-up with a home visit with Jax.  Huge get for CRTC when you can tell recruits they can train with RBY, FIx and Gilman.

so rby isn't the villain anymore.

its gonna be awesome if he and fix both make la 2028

Why was he a villain before?  He won all his matches vs Fix in non-controversial manner.

He never was, at least in my mind. He was entertaining to watch at the highest level during his D1 college career and I’ll continue to support him and wish him nothing but best in all that he chooses to do.

I have to assume that CowboyYe2024 referred to RBY as the villain from the standpoint of being a cowboy fan. Fix couldn't beat RBY and therefore was the villain.

If the rumors are true and Dake, Yianni and Myles Amine join the Cowboy RTC to go along with RBY, Fix & Gilman......I'd say this is a pretty good start

Those lower weights will be absolutely stacked in 4 years with veterans and the HS kids who will then be 22. It's going to be a gauntlet of death.

Does the Cowboy RTC go over par terre positioning?

Nope, they're working on new cutting edge technique.
