No point for the singlet pull?? Shouldn't it be 2-2 at break instead of 2-1?

Similar to offensive leg foul in Greco. Take the hold away and stand them up (the first time, I believe)

It sure was a point for Aaron Brooks against Zahid!

USAW rules enforce a point there, UWW does not, if determined accidental.

Zain has attempted zero actual offense.

These feints from twelve feet out are bullshit.

He should have gone 74 KG.

Is this Iranian good enough to make the finals?

And jiminy christmas we really suck at this weight, why are we so bad at 65kg?

Yes the Iranian is good enough to pull Zain back in. He is really, really good.

Amouzad won Worlds a couple years ago as a 19 year old.

Zain is a folkstyler who has zero offense against the best 65 kgs in the world.

He lost every hand fight, counter and was totally out classed.

Looks like he'd have to beat 2 of the three Russians still left on this side.

Zain loses 0-8. Great showing by Amouzad.

I really don't understand Zain's gameplan there. He spent 95% of the match pushing Amouzad away and not tying up. Looked like he was worried about Amouzad's underhook, but Zain's a scrappy handfighter. He didn't put himself into a position where he could take a single committed shot the entire match. That's partly due to Amouzad's great positioning, but what I found puzzling was why Zain would try to remain at arm's length that entire match. He kept pushing off and keeping his distance.

Zain's push/pull/angles are great except if you aren't actually taking any shots off of it.  I thought he was trying to keep it close get him tired which worked for a little while but he never actually tried to score or create a scramble.  Frustrating

Yeah, but somehow he wins the Hodge over an Olympic champion.

There are levels to this.
