Paid Letter: The truth about Tim Walz. Just a few issues with his military record. Was only a Master Sergeant.

The press release says his unit could be mobilized, and that Walz will continue his service.  This was supported by his superior that he had indicated he would continue.  He changed his mind and retired after the press release.

So you bring up the press release...

then immediately say that "He changed his mind...after the press release." ... without a single bit of fact behind it.

You aren't always a bad poster, but here you're as bad as the minions that post continual BS.

@RockLobster I'm using articles and unit member comments to fact check this statement

Don't waste your time with your nonsense sites - that's all BS.

Especially the 'superior' crap you keep pushing... in the US we don't believe in superior people. We're all equal.

Your buddies are now posting that "Tim Walz withdraws", so dumb, you guys keep getting crazier.

The only site that is open, honest, and without BS is right here:

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/fact-checking-attacks-on-walzs-military-record-by-vance-and-other-republicans

(Yes, it's the same one I've posted a few times, and the same one that NOBODY has responded to. Pussies.)

Rather than confronting the uncomfortable situation directly, Scourge and others attempt to shift the focus from Walz to Trump and Vance. Deflecting is a childish response; an adult can face issues head-on.

It's valid to criticize Trump and Vance, but first, have the courage to acknowledge and address the criticisms of Walz.

They remind me of Junior high when the teacher would catch someone throwing spitballs, talking during tests ,etc. . The perpetrator would automatically say, well Joey and Ricky also did it. You hopefully grow out of that in high school.

A lie from 6 years ago is basically nothing in comparison to the dozens of lies spewed from Trump every single time he talks. The right is the group that is deflecting here.

In all seriousness...when people brought up all the things Trump had said many many years prior to running for president the first time, did you share this same sentiment...aka, why are people talking about this that happened X years ago??

And again to be clear...I think it all is fair game for everyone running for President/VP...definitely important for people to know in order to hopefully make an informed decision.

His lies are accelerating. It's getting to the point where just about every single statement is a lie. It's unreal that he has any credibility left at all, even to the wingers.

Didn't answer my question...yes or no...people shouldn't bring up things he said x years ago?

I'll answer for RV.

If an R - Yes, relevant and get all the dirt you can.

If a D - Not relevant as Ds change their minds so often they don't know if they are coming or going.    What they said x years ago means nothing.  It is what they are saying now that means anything at all and is all that is relevant.

Especially in light of Walz spending years lying about his military record.

Said he retired at a higher rank than he actually did.  Very easy to verify the lie here.

Said he carried weapons in war.   Very easy to verify the lie here.

Said he was in a war zone.   Very easy to verify the lie here.

Said he served 24 years in the national guard.   Very easy to verify the truth here.

He is not being criticized for the last item.  It is for the first three items.

Why is 'changing your mind' brought up as a bad thing like they can't make up their mind?

Isn't it better to admit that you may not have had all the facts when you first made up your mind on an issue?

Is changing you mind a weakness?

Yes it is when you do so only for political gain.   No, not when facts prove your position wrong and you change to agree with facts.

Now I was trying to make a funny about the double standard that is applied.   R's are not allowed to change their minds.  D's are expected to.   Kamala, the architect of the Biden economy is now trying to distance herself from him.   That much is apparent because she is going to "fix" the economy.   But she really cannot hide who she is when she offers money for votes, $25k for first time home purchasers.   That there is sound economic policy.

And you do you feel about JD Vance? Prior to joining his ticket:

  • Vance, once described himself as a “Never Trump guy”
  • “My god what an idiot,” Vance wrote in one of the tweets. It was one of many tweets now deleted.
  • Vance once questioned whether Trump could be “America’s Hitler” in a private Facebook message in 2016
  • “Mr. Trump is unfit for our nation’s highest office,” he wrote in the op-ed

Seems like he's changed his mind for political gain CONSIDERABLY!

If have even the tiniest amount of integrity, could you reply honestly here?
