You think you are not anti trans. But it is clear by the way you describe what you 'think' is the process by which these treatments are facilitated that you either aren't aware of your ignorance to the truth or not. One can be excused. The other cannot.

You feel it is as easy as going to a doctor and getting prescribed medication. It isn't. That you are so blatantly dishonest is my point. You try to pass it off as fact and they are the furthest from fact that you can be.

The process of transitioning is long or at least not as quick as you try to convince people that it is. It involves counseling and consultations and repeated visits to monitor progress and then medication(that DOES NOT STERILIZE ANYONE) which again requires repeated visits to monitor hormone levels, then potentially surgery if all agree it is warranted. A hammer to a nail, it is not.

I'm sorry that you were convinced of an obvious lie. But you were. And you are now trying to pass it along as truth. I am just trying to inform you of that fact and you are unwilling or unable to understand.

It is your blatant refusal to understand the truth that makes you anti trans and makes what you say anti trans. If you were just mistaken, it may be understood. But on a number of occasions you refuse to consider that you are wrong and that anyone else could possibly have differing or more accurate information than you. And I do. Because I want to. I seek it out. That you're scared to learn is not my problem.

Cause celebre, is sticking up for a marginalized group that conservatives use as a boogeyman to demonize and castigate as the reason for immorality in the united states and reason to pass bathroom bills and keep kids from playing sports on a nontraditional team or restrict abortion or use tax dollars to pay for church services.

Conservatives don't punch up. Its always at a group that has much less power or influence. Why do you think that is? Because you have no other ideas. Just keep people scared and voting.

Restricting transgender kids: when has a knee jerk reaction like this, to a new thing ever benefitted that group in the long run?

I don't care how uncomfortable you are with the group or those that support them. You are wrong. Its tough to hear and I'll bet in a few years when you finally come around, tougher to admit. They are here. The are human and they deserve everything that everyone else gets by default. Restricting anything is inhumane and cruel and you should be ashamed to even suggest that things be restricted because you feel icky about it.

NEW RESTRICTIONS. Can you even hear yourself? That's all you want. Keep things as they are right now, forever. WHY? What are you so afraid of? Its pretty obvious its something, what is it? Must be terrifying living in your head. Scared of everything the great leader tells you to be afraid of. Would much rather think for myself.

They’re kids.  Leave them alone.

Now you want me to care about your feelings? Isn't that funny.

Majority or minority. I'm still right. And your playing the same cards that have been played at every similar occurrence. Afraid to assimilate a new marginalized group, into the whole because you're afraid of change.

Nope. I do care. Ignoring the research and the overall good that it will do in the long run is  tant amount to torture.

You're still lying.

Show an example of a minor going through all this on their own and what their process was, step by step? If you can't or won't then your point is moot.  Then I'll show you a scared human being that is desperately trying to make sense of their situation and likely as not finding no support at home or in their community.

How is it that you cannot see how much harm your causing just by holding your opinion? You probably don't have any effect on a person that might be struggling with their situation. But your words give encouragement to others that will deny their child the health care that they need. Which might just be talking to a therapist. Because its, in their eyes; evil, wrong, gross, or just embarrassing. This makes me sick you would wish that on another person. Just so you can FEEL more comfortable with the world as you see it.

Cruelty? I'm on the side of acceptance and treatment. You want to restrict things from KIDS! Because of your warped interpretation of something you, clearly, know little about.

It’s being restricted all over the world for a reason. Groomers

I know that you have no idea what you are talking about and the arrogance you display by trying(and failing) to convince us that you know everything about these incredibly nuanced topics tells me that you need as much help as possible. So yes. If I were you, I would get some help from medical professionals if you find yourself in that situation. For the sake of your kids.

I'm just here. Looking out for the best interest of your kids. Especially when you refuse to.

Happy Pride!

You’re crossing a pretty serious line.

Acceptance is fine.   Accept them.   No need to accept the sterilization and mutilation of minors.   Butchering minors is cruel and inhumane.   It is neither kind nor compassionate.

I don't know what to say. You seem to have no sympathy or empathy for people or the parents of people in these situations. From this comment its clear you are not familiar with the standard course of treatment and just want to parade the most extreme examples of the negative side of medicine and try to pass it off as the norm.

That's dishonest. Do you even recognize that?

Its a common tactic trying to elicit an emotional response when the facts don't really support your position. Much like the 9 month abortions that people trot out and say happen more than they do. Its a lie. They don't care that they are lying because they justified the means to an end. Why do people believe it? Their need to feel morally superior to someone overtakes their capacity to think critically, if they ever had it at all(cough cough religion is poison) or thier just too lazy or stupid to find the truth because they've bought in to the position and to question it would throw their world into chaos. Finding they've been lied to and that they've been conveying that lie to others would open a wound potentially too big to heal.

I wonder what you have invested in your misinformation on this topic, being true? Would you have to confront a family member or friends that hold this position? Those would be some tough conversations. Made lose that friend or change the dynamic of the relationship with that family member. Maybe get you kicked out of a group or two. Those are high prices to pay for something as simple as wanting and seeking accurate information.

Find people that want accurate information. That aren't bothered when they are proven to be wrong or mistaken about something. I'll be they aren't as volatile to be around. A bit more understanding when it comes to... just about everything. l

Convince me you actually understand what goes into getting to the point where a patient and guardians feel it is necessary for each of these steps?

If you say, 'no'. It means you don't care to actually learn what the process is. That you'd rather stick to your talking point.

If you do. Maybe you would learn how long it takes and how many steps it takes to get to each stage of treatment. Not that your heart would grow three sizes but maybe you'd understand what might motivate someone to go through all that.

Yes the cheap fake excuse was an albatross.   And everyone knew it when it was proffered.   It has been apparent for a long time that he is getting worse.   And for his aides to have to say, "that man has so much energy I can hardly keep up with him.   And how he runs meetings is amazing, he is really engaged"   Well, that is not what we see.   When we seen him he walks like an old man, talks like an old man, falls down like an old man, and wanders off like an old man.    So to try to tell us he is somehow miraculously different behind closed doors is stretching credulity.

But I believe the CNN pundits actually believed all that drivel because they were stunned right after the debate.   STUNNED.   They drank the kool aid and it was soooooooooooooooooo apparent.   Somehow they thought he was better than he has been showing the last few years.   I don't understand.   The emperor had no clothes and they all believed it.   That is as close an analogy for this I can figure.

I believe they were in on the charade. They hoped the handlers would get Biden propped up like they did for the State of the Union, then send him back to the basement until November.

Indeed, this is the only explanation other than Kool-Aid.
