A potential finalist at 157 is really nice, like wiping your butt with silk nice. But if the rumblings about him wanting to go up to 165 are true, this looks like a weird move, unless Caliendo can make 157 (I am under the impression that Kennedy really cannot cut down below 165)

Iowa fans were convinced Caliendo was a small 165 pounder so the cut to 157 should be doable.

idk if he plans/intends on going 165 but he's really big/heavy right now.

obviously, Iowa is paying him to wrestle 157.

he probably doesn't have to even make it until second semester so there's plenty of time.

if he can't get down to 57 it would be nothing short of a disaster. (unless Cali can make 157 (effectively))

I don't know where people keep getting Caliendo is a 157 from, he's plenty big at 165 and is obscenely strong at the weight. Even if he could make 157 (doubtful), I don't see him being more than a puddle.
