Davison/Hendrickson is going to be fun

Davison usually has an edge in athleticism. Not tonight, assuming Wyatt is feeling himself.

Also, I did like Wyatt's approach today v. Big Elam. Nice and boring. No need to overextend himself and impress the masses.

Silly to challenge that

I disagree. Too many coaches waste challenges in small situations. You need to save them for important moments (individual semifinalist, implications for the team score) even if the chances of success on reversing that call were poor.

I think Kerk had some weight issue and had trouble making weight today.

Also Davison with the HUGE upset.

Kerk weighed in at 254 at B1Gs.

I thought Kerk had slimmed down this year to help with his conditioning. I didn’t think he was anywhere near 285.

Davison got decked last year by not respecting Pindrickson.

If he can avoid the first two minute onslaught, he might be okay.

Not sure why the rest of the heavyweight field wasn't reported... maybe it had to be with True 9th bracketing?

Cohlton Schultz: the Will Lewan of fat guys. If Chris Farley was an AA, he'd be Schultz.

While I agree, I also disagree.

Folks choose not to wrestle Schultz because he can pin anybody and once he is physically on top of you it is impossible to not be under him.

Lewan forces folks to not wrestle.

Have we seen a bigger slide the Glazier at Iowa? Two weeks ago he was the hero that kept the Iowa Big10 finals streak alive.

At NCAAs he went 1-2 and got put out by a guy from Arkansas.

Is Ayala the only Hawkeye to win this round?

Feldman and Davison getting the 9 and 10 seeds was disrespectful

They were seeded correctly.  Feldman took some early season losses and Davison payed the price for taking 2 losses to Feldman.
