For one, I can't see Ramirez having the tank to go with MM for 7 minutes in the semi.

Is this the Ramirez who beat defending champ Griffith, beat finalist Monday twice, and beat former champion Carr?

Nebraska's Crystal Ball:

Smith loses to Stanich

Van Dee loses to Orine

Hardy loses to Lemley

Lovett loses to Henson

Robb loses to Lewan

Taylor loses to Hall

Labriola loses to Starocci (whoops, that was last year).  Wilson goes fishing.

Pinto loses to Munoz

Alred loses to Glazer

Huntmacher loses to Schulz

Bonus:  Manning screams, cries, and kicks an official (is booted from the arena)

Yes.  Also the same Ramirez who ducked Carr.

He may score a few, but will not be able to keep up with MM for seven minutes.  He will wilt.  Wilt.

Wrestling MM is just a bit more taxing on the lungs than those guys.

Ramirez is very dangerous and capable of beating the top seeds.  Fun tio watch.  Same for that Cornell 174 lber wrestling up a weight.  Foca has a lot of tricks and I try not to miss his matches.  Can be very entertaining.

Someone butthurt much 😆Penn state fans can't stand the fact that their team isn't as great as they think it is

Two points.  Not all who root for a team have the same mindset.  Plenty of humble PSU wrestle fans wary of a tough loss.  So far this year, the team has met the standard of great without a lot of flat/bad (team and each wrestler) days.  But this tourney is so tough that PSU might falter from the seeds/expectations.  Would be a big surprise to have them finish below 1st as a team, but as Spencer Lee teaches us, even the most vetted NCAA competitor can get knocked off.  These risks make it fun for fans!   As tough as Brooks looks at 197, the #2 seed has been off the charts this year as well.   Brooks is human and that match could be one of the best ever.

Your "two cents" make sense.  They are not nonsense.

But given elevator (I mean elevated) inflation, they might about to about 5 cents (points)

Yep. Hamiti had it in the bag until about 90 seconds to go, and then he absolutely imploded.

I don’t think Ramirez or Carr have ever felt anything like that. They also don’t have anywhere near the length to counter Mesenbrink that Hamiti does.

Carr has had success against long wrestlers, his technique is rock solid just that KOT was slightly better the last two times.

Sure it would.  None of this matters.

You know they say that but listen carefully.  Starocci et al talk about how it doesn't matter but they also all talk about how they'd do anything for Cael.  If losing is ok and doesn't matter and they all do it then Cael is out of a job, but they"d do anything for Cael so maybe they are trying to win and it really does matter.  🤔

Down goes Davis against Dean Peterson, down goes Naggo against Bailey, down goes bartlett against Mathews, down goes Kasak against Abas.

Haines down to Shapiro, Messinbrick loses in semis, Carter takes L to Lewis, Truex L to Plott, Brooks 1 champ, Kerk L to Bastida !!

Let the fun begin 🔥 🔥

@jajensen09 because I know you have been waiting to hear from me, Caleb Smith as a #15 seed has <1% of making the finals. 11% of AA.

Going off purely #s maybe but off matchups, no.  125 is a different beast you can't just look at the seed #s

All of those are definitely within the realm of possibility. But to have all of them happen in the same tournament?! That would be an astronomically low chance. And they would probably need every single one of them to happen for them to not win.

PS you forgot Brooks L to Hidlay 😀

Seeing Spencer go down Live, shows us anything can happen. Penn state isn't invincible

Messinbrink will certainly not wrestle in the finals

Is that your way of predicting that KOT will injury default in the finals?
