The string:

125 is pretty "week"

#1 -#5 is pretty solid

I wouldn't call that  pretty strong

I didn't, I called it solid

Solid is different pretty strong ...

yeah that's why i used "Solid"

Really??? If you start at top of string (not just where you jump in and change to “solid”), it says:

NM1965: The Big 12 looks pretty strong

Me: I was going to say the opposite. Other than 165,184,197,285, they look weak.

You: 125 #1 -5 are solid

Me: Their rankings are 6,8,14,15,16, I wouldn’t call that pretty strong.

You: I’m sticking with 125 is pretty solid

Me: solid is different than pretty strong that I was originally responding to a different poster (NM1965)

you: Then you started the whole changing the goalpost!

Call it whatever you want, they would likely be seeded 5,6,10,11,12 if at the Big 10. That’s not very impressive to me.

Got to admit, I don't know what to expect out of my home state Miz Tigers.  Maybe coach Smith can pull a Houdini and have the Tigers healthy and ready to wrestle.  Sure ended the season on a down projectory.  I realize injuries and illness do happen, but I was really optimistic about this year with what was coming back, and having nats in KC.  I want to believe, but I have'nt had anything to lead me to think Miz might turn a corner.  Only positive is to see the Big 12 continue to get more competitive as a wrestling conference.  Will be even more interesting to see Arizona State in the mix next year, and makes no sense that Arkansas-Little Rock is not in the conference.  Of course, "common sense" with reference to location for conference affiliation is a thing of the past.

I forgot Hawks also beat #20 Ayzerov of Columbia (that is three top 20 wins as compared to zero by Whiting). Whiting beat hawks 4-1 in Sudden Victory. I mean that is the slightest of margins. Maybe Hawks has turned it around on Whiting as of recently. If so with those wins he would have to be a no brainer. This is nothing against Whiting in any way. But, taking all things into consideration. It is probably the right choice as it was last year. When Harman beat Hawks during the season. But Hawks had wins over guys who beat Harman and better wins overall. It is a tough decision. Remember, Hawks was #10 ranked coming into the season.  Personally, I think either one would be a great choice. But if you look at it by what has happened this season. Hawks is probably the right choice.

Hawks also had a win at 2023 NCAAs over Gavin Kane, who ended up 8th in that bracket.

So you didn't know how to respond to ":solid" so you changed the word to "strong"?  If you move the goalpost just a little further maybe your next response will be "invincible"

3 guys from the same conference AA in the same weight isn't pretty strong...... okay.

I was just about to say the same thing? lol....tough crowd on the definition of "strong" "solid"

This went over my head.  What does it mean? Is it that they didn't have very different opinions after all?

Surber got pinned in 0:47 by the 10th seed (who had a 9-12 record). What's Surber's deal anyway, he never seems to improve?

He's been injured all year but in this one think got caught going for too much with his move.
