His factoids are almost always spot on.
juniorvarsity Posted March 20 Posted March 20 I always enjoy Shane Sparks on the call. I am also enjoying Mike McMullan this year. People forget - McMullan got 3rd, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd. Lost to Nelson(quarters), Nelson(finals), Marsden(2nd Round), and Coon(semis). He always showed up at NCAAs. Hidlay was great last year too. Very technical on the call. I appreciated it. Seemed like a lot of people did. I haven't been watching the ESPN broadcast with JB. Gotta keep it on MatCast, but JB always does a great job too.

Rassling Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Football uses terms like gridiron and turf to describe its flooring. Basketball uses terms like hardwood and asphalt. Shane likes the term resolite to describe ours. Be happy he’s in our corner. We desperately need more energized bunnies like him to promote our fine wrestlers kicking ass on resolites nationwide.

jmoney Posted March 21 Posted March 21 Sparks’ lack of wrestling acumen combined with his partner Mike McNally’s nerdy style reciting point scores was not a good pair. I will have to try my other free Fubo recording to see if they had better play by play on any of the seasons. Sparks has worn out his stay IMO.
