Gomez is wrestling well right now. He's dangerous in the tie-up for sure, but he's also got a pretty wide arsenal on his feet (including a super-slick single that can come up into a body lock). I'd probably take him the dual, but I see more potential for Ridge to go deep at nationals.

I like Gomez if they do wrestle.  I think it'll look similar to Gomez and Sasso's matches.  Ridge is great in a scramble but Gomez is a bit scramble-proof.

I'm surprised to see so many favoring Gomez. I like Gomez as an underdog, but I think Ridge should be the favorite

Gomez might win tonight when it's one match and done, but Ridge is better suited for a 3 day grinder of a tournament than Old Man Gomez at NCAA's.
