Although we have about another month of the dual season, what athlete looks to be in or nearing top form and is poised to All-American, if not win a national title?

That the tricky part, it is still early....Matt Ramos is wrestling much better than he was earlier in the year. Braden Davis is wrestling great, but can he hold up until March.

After not winning a single match first semester, AJ Ferrari steps up and makes the finals at the Soldier Salute.  Look for big things from him in the second half.

It has to be Michael Blockhus. Takes out #2 and #3 at the same time #1 looks vulnerable.

Peaking a little early don't ya think?

Yeah I would think now would not be the right time.

Penn St doesn't yet have a single #1 ranked wrestler (coach poll) I wonder if Carl has a plan.  🤔

Dustin Plott is looking beastly. Handled everything #4 Munoz had to throw at him. He's got Keckeisen this weekend... Keckeisen has looked like a NC contender since Day 1.

True.  Trey struggled to finish in positions he has finished or scored with on pretty much everyone else this season.

Blockhus will have the following opponents leading up to Big Tens per WrestleStat

Andrew Clark - Rutgers
Michael North - Maryland
Trevor Chumbley - NW
Joe Roberts - Illinois
Joey Blaze - Purdue
Luke Mechler - Wisconsin

Chumbley and Blaze stand out as the tough matchups there, assuming they happen. But I would’ve considered both winnable even before Blockhus’s recent run. At this point, he’s gotta be considered a favorite to be a top 2 seed at big tens. He’s not cutting hard, I like his chances to sustain this success through March.
