anybody see the recent stuff about him firing engineers because they're telling him the truth about how he's not as popular as he thinks he is? he threw a temper tantrum because his super bowl tweet generated less views than biden's. the new "fix" for this problem is to make the algorithm amplify his tweets x 1000.

can't imagine a more pathetic loser. he's like an old school schizophrenic roman emperor.

What's your source on this? TMZ?

The engineer Uncle Bernard is referring to was right.  They always are.

If Musk wants people to pay attention to him on Twitter, he has to play by the same rules as everyone else.  He has to  say something worthwhile or insult people to give others their jollies.   We can rule out the former.  He needs to step up his game and insult some people!

I believe about 10% of what’s in the news these days.

That guy isn't, but he does have a cousin named James who works for him. The tweet you just posted is actually a reply to another reply that erroneously tagged him thinking he was *that* James Musk.

It's hilarious how often the guys who complain about the media being full of lies post the most obvious disinformation - you in this case. The media is full of lies, just not the ones you think.

What on earth caused you to want to read all of that and brag about it?

Right?  It's a hit job by four authors with evidence that Eliza is disingenuous.  It lacks context and analysis of the issues surrounding sex trafficking and the challenges of reporting on and verifying claims.  It is charged and critical and not an ounce of empathy for parts are likely true such as the escort experience.  TBH this isn't a surprise if she is exaggerating.  She gain attention by saying the right things for a good cause (stop trafficking) but her reaction to the youtube video images posted to Twitter was sketch.  She lost some credibility her reaction but I still like what she is advocating against.  It's an article worth writing but with horrible execution.  I had to look up whether the authors were monsters...

It IS correct that Musk was gullible on believing Eliza so easily.  Its the good kind of gullible and Elon is no more dipshit than the rest of us.

Your concern is touching.

What was unclear?

The article is disgusting.  When I read it, I was like WTF is Mike posting that?  It is hard to recage the lizard brain and recognize your intent was to criticize Elon.

Elon Musk is a gullible dipshit.

Twitter used to have standards for what they would allow.

There were entire departments that vetted things.

Currently, all you have to do is get Elmo's attention.

I'm not sure I expressed any.

You don't like Elon Musk. You're trendy and hip, I get it.

For mostly the same reasons @jrossstated, I was surprised of the use of that article as evidence that others should take up your quest to make Twitter great again?

Nobody with an ounce of sense is going to pay for social media.

That model is doomed to fail.

I won't pay for television,  and I don't use social media for free.  I personally think social media has seen it's peak and will be decreasing in use going forward. I won't watch most  short  form news and social media isn't even up to that standard.

Ahh, it’s starting to makes sense. Unrealized stock options?

I have no holdings in TSLA.

Tesla turned out to be exactly the kind of workplace that it looked like when I visited.
I have friends who worked there for years and the stories they tell are toe-curling.

No thanks.
