Could Gable go to Iowa and challenge Penn State?

With Gable announcing his intention to return for his final year of eligibility any chance he gets a nice NIL deal from Iowa?

If Iowa gets Ferrari at 197 and Gable at heavy along with the other off-season additions, could this be enough to take on Penn State?

No.  Obviously he'd be an improvement but they're already counting on pretty big points from Cassioppi, so he really only adds maybe 7ish points at the tournament.

AJ would be a bigger impact with their current hole at 197.

But even with AJ + Gable, their best case scenario in a dual against PSU is probably 4 wins, which is kinda crazy.

The Gable has no interest in being goosed after every practice.  There's a reason he is called Focus🚗

Can he go anywhere he wants? Does he already have a degree (if that matters at all)?

Is there anything sound to the Gable to Iowa idea or is this just pure, irresponsible speculation?

Willie says the rumor has legs. Know what else has legs? Squirrels. And squirrels are just tree rats. Not sure where I’m going with this…

If he accepted any money from the WWE doesnt that make him a professional athlete and nix him from NCAA competition?  Obviously NIL changes things, but he moved on prior to that gaining traction (I think) so I can't see them having the forethought to use NIL verbiage with contracts on the off chance he goes back to the NCAA, right?

I believe it was claimed to be an NIL deal

And WWE is considered entertainment rather than professional sport.

I’m technologically illiterate so I can’t execute this…but just know, I wanted to post the old video of the wrestling fan screaming, “it’s still real to me, damnit!” In response.
