A lot of super interesting weight classes -- one of which will be 79kg, where JB may face either Marsteller or Starocci for the spot at Final X.

This is an all or nothing for most of these guys in the Open.    Cox is fortunate to already have a spot at 92 WTTs in case his plans go south.

Cox is entered at 97kg at the US Open. Is there a way for him to pursue the 92kg spot as well?

He was last year's guy and medaled and could have declared his intention to go to Final X at 92.   He declined that, as a result of his being #1 from the US at 92, he should be able to take that spot in WTTs with a little more weight cutting.   At least as I understand it and that may not be much!!

I don't think Starocci makes it the the US Open finals.  The two best guys in that bracket should meet in the semifinals there and I think Dieringer comes away with it this time.

I missed Dieringer's name. That dude is super duper good. What a great weight class. Should be fun to watch.

57 Gilman. I hate myself. I hate everything about myself for doing this. I want Lee. I also want Zane because I’m a homer but I REALLY want Lee. Taking over Richards in my heart but Lee on the record.

61 Fix over Gross

65 McKenna over Yianni

70 Greezy 🤞 (or Zain I guess). Unless JG signs up last minute that I guess, uh, “that dude” to get reached by Zain

74 Dake over Nolf

79 JB over Starocci

86 Taylor over Brooks (but gawd I love me some Zahid ⛷️⛷️⛷️

92 Moore over Jackson. But I applaud Cox for moving on from being a 2x world champ and 6x medalist going on a vision quest to take out someone domestically who is top 3 p4p and wanting to ultimately hunt down the world p4p champ. Just make weight this time dumb dumb.

97 Snyder makes weight and cleans house. By Cox

125 Steveson over Gwiz
