With Truax joining Penn State it seems Iowa's only hope at a team title next year is to land ALL the Ferraris, including AJ.

If Nagao joins Penn State it may not even matter...

The Brands Bros better be kissing some tanned Italian butts these days...

From other thread:

They can get a three year lease on a good used Ford Focus for $665k/yr,  just don't tell BnG he comes in an orange jump suit.

The younger two are only $200k/yr each but come with one per get out of jail free card (one won't be enough).

BTW: the team race is for 2nd.

One dollar and eighty-seven cents. That was all. And sixty cents of it was in pennies. Pennies saved one and two at a time by bulldozing the grocer and the vegetable man and the butcher until one’s cheeks burned with the silent imputation of parsimony that such close dealing implied. One dollar and eighty-seven cents. And the next day would be Christmas...

Iowa has a strong class of 2023 joining the team next season but they haven't made any moves on 2024 recruits yet, besides Keyan Hernandez. Meanwhile Penn State is stacking up a monster class for 2024. Is Brands waiting on transfer results or just lagging on 2024 moves?

I have a feeling they were focused in on Jesuroga and didn't have a backup plan in place, so when he quit they had to scramble to try a replacement and were just a little too late to the party for many of the 2024 stud lightweights. Good news is they were in on Angelo early, but that's about it for optimism in the 2024 class. Our best hope going forward is to get Angelo, Nagao and pull in a monster 2025 class.

add in easy access to firearms...

Nothing at all wrong with that.

Our High Schools have shooting teams. Olympic style Air Rifle as well as trap shooting. Wood shop sees kids bringing in rifles for custom stocks and making hunting bows. Hunting is part of our culture and not a problem.

Iowa is still a State with agriculture and outdoor heritage. Might be good for the Ferrari clan.

A new place with great support for the two who have problems might help them.

Instead of focusing on one family, maybe Iowa should rethink how they train throughout the year, how they prepare mentally and how they coach their athletes.

But, that will almost certainly take a coaching change. I don’t think most of the Iowa faithful are prepared to admit that.

There it is. Even PSU posters are better, much like their coach...
