Watching the replays of Spencer fighting off of his back. You can see his soul leaving his body. He knew he slipped up. Sad how years of work can be wiped out so quickly, but I bet he goes full Gable and hits the Senior circuit with a vengeance.

Really?  He can barely walk.  He's been winning on top and by being stronger than people.  This won't be a Gable story.

I'm really sad, ya'll. My kid cousin has been to a few camps with Spencer and really looks up to him. That connection, along with the fact that he went to Iowa and wrestles the way he does, made him my favorite wrestler in a very long time. The loss shocked me and I'm rather shaken by how emotionally invested I got in the atletic life of someone that has no real impact on my life, other than providing entertainment.

Kid hasn’t seemed the same.  He was in bad spots multiple times this season.  We shall see.  I wonder if the injuries are just too much.
