I think Ramirez #4 going down is the biggest one so far. 125 the number 6 & 7 both lost already

Yes, all top 4 won their first round but Ramirez.    Kind of an uneventful morning session in that regard.

At 165, #8 Olguin of ORST lost to #25 Wilson of NEB 3-1

At 184, #8 Finesilver of MICH lost to #25 Bonino of DREX 3-2

This rounds out the top 8 seeds to go down first session.

I guess we'll see what happens tonight.

Weird match...Pinto takes down the UVA wrestler in the first 10 seconds and gets a suck back for 4 NF and then....gets totally dominated after that, outside of a scramble Pinto barely threatened to score the rest of the match. Props to the UVA wrestler for keeping his nose to the grindstone and getting a nice win.

Through 125/133 it looked like we were gonna be in for a wild ride in the 1st session and then things calmed down considerably. Lots of close calls, but in the end most of the favored seeds pulled it out.

Maybe not a "major" upset, but I was excited to see 184 lb Colton Hawks Mizzou (#22) beat Gavin Kane UNC (#11).  Final score was 6-2.  Great win for Colton who has gotten better throughout this season.   Go Mizzou!
