Alizarev gets dropped first match but still alive for repechage so far... apparently, there is a bug or something going around... all 3 weights this morning have had a first round forfeit where the wrestler did not even report... X didn't wrestle for us at 63... they tried to get max in the bracket but couldn't do it... Max says otto is suffering, which, after watching him look like he was about to die late in the second and melt makes sense after initially a very competitive match with last years world champ at 63kg... Chkhikvadze went from one lost challenge and teching Orta in the first to totally falling apart in the second and giving up step out after step out to go from 8-2 to losing 12-8... epic melt down... Beka was winning late against former Olympic bronze from Bulgaria and then just got taken to his back very weirdly with about 30 seconds left and getting pinned... excuses are just that... heading into quarters now...

Qatar's wrestler at 67 after losing to shimoyamadda tried to explain to the female ref that he could not shake her hand... he was being very respectful about it, but, simply couldn't do it... i do not pretend to know every muslim custom, but, have seen this in the past... they ended up red carding him, which, felt very unacceptable... UWW has to understand different cultures in a global sport...
