BAC Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Sadly Shumate just defaulted out, while up 7-1 over Italy with a little over a minute left. Looked like he popped out his shoulder. Tried to continue but just couldn't. He wrestled like a lion today. No one picked him to do much today, but absent that injury he'd have been wrestling for a medal.

Looked like he tore his pectoral muscle to me since he kept holding the front of his chest, but could've been shoulder too. Either way, was a good showing for him.
