Not to intentionally pile on Iowa and Gilman (not that I mind though)…

Zeke Moisey WBF over Thomas Gilman

2015 NCAA semifinals, Moisey unseeded, Gilman 6 seed

Also beat 2 seed Nahshon Garrett, 7 seed Eddie Klimara, as well as the 15 seed.  Quite a run!

Ryan Lange for being Askren's only collegiate loss outside of Pendleton

Paul Jenn for beating Carl.

Speaking of Ryan Lang his tech fall loss in the NCAA finals to  Derek Moore probably fits well in to this category.

Different Ryan Lang but yes.

Scott Coleman of Iowa State defaulted to Mocco on a restart when he could have won via disqualification.

Jenkins pinning Taylor in the finals.

Doesn't get much weirder. Everything from the move he used to the way Taylor went dead cricket once he hit his back reads like it should have been the opposite.

Ralph Everett and Rashad Evans at 2003 NCAA tournament putting two Ls on defending champ Greg Jones in the only NCAAs he didn't win the title. Both lost in blood round that year.

The Kizhan Clarke and Ronnie Perry runs to the finals were both some of the most fun memories I've had watching NCAA wrestling in the last decade+ or so.  Moisey fits here too but somebody already mentioned him.

Kaid Brock sticking Cody Brewer in his first match out of redshirt

Kaid Brock was my favorite guy to watch at his peak. He only hit filth.

He's on the short list of guys I am most curious to see how their career would have gone if they could have stayed healthy. Hunter Steiber is also on that list.

Speaking of. True Freshman Hunter Stieber knocking off NC Kellen Russell at CKLV probably belongs on this list. I'd be willing to be there is an entire generation of wrestlers that have no idea Logan had a younger brother/how good he really was.

Poor guy had three season-ending injuries.
