by all means, you anonymous forum nerds can get back to constantly whining...

this has become so very dull...

stay on topic and stop trolling, please. you are far to intellectually superior to waste your immense IQ on such things.

I think CP does a good job and yes Flo isn’t perfect but my guess is you girls that sit here and complain about everything, weather you pay for Flo or wait for the free stuff would be wishing you had Flo everyday. And the rest of us would be stuck with you Sally’s coming here every day and talking about the fact there isn’t something like a Flo

serious question. Don’t you just get tired of complaining and talking about the same thing?

You're wrong. I complain about flo all the time, because i don't like things that suck (shame on me), and I pay for it because I need the notifications at tournaments and watch about 4 events a year(muted when possible), but beyond that I only occasionally touch on their content to make sure its still pure cringe and I don't need to watch. So your claim that Pyles would be missed is way off. "Something like flo"? are you kidding. This is stuff is going to get lived streamed, and once its not Flo doing it flo is gonna die quickly.

And no I don't get tired of wanting my sport to have compelling content, and yes my contempt for the complacent idiots siphoning a living off our fan base is seemingly infinite! glad to help.

I would honestly guess that they were organically recapping the finals with each other and just decided to make it into a video and post it as simply additional content. If you want a detailed recap of what happened, FRL will be live tomorrow morning. Complaining because CP made a video with his son and posted it is silly. It's not like regularly scheduled programming where he ruined your favorite show. If there's a video you don't want to watch, you simply don't have to. It's really not that complicated.

At the end of the day, I'm not surprised. People will find anything they can to take a shot at flo. I really don't understand. There are absolutely places where flo can be justly criticized. I think their UI and the navigability of their website is pretty horrendous most of the time and it's kind of shocking how little they seem to do to improve it, and they've had some major hiccups in coverage over the years. But CP and this video should be damn near the bottom of complaints regarding flowrestling.

I don't subscribe to Flo (I don't even like Flo) but I prefer my engagement with sports writers/personalities to be grounded and accessible. The fact that Pyles did a video with his kid shows me that he's a real person and appears to be pretty down to Earth. Also, the guys at Flo seem to be accessible to a certain degree, which for a small community like wrestling is nice.

This is actually level-headed and a solid take. In reflection of this, there are numerous talking head types in other sports that I would never want to interact with, and seem like their on-air persona has been adopted as their true identity. Stephen A. Smith for example, is a guy I would never want to interact with or be around. Just one example of many I won’t list. So, in that vein, I can agree here and also enjoy what is being referred to as “accessibility”

I watch both FRL and Baschmania on my way to and from work.

I think FRL is better for international (mainly because of Kozak). Basch does not care about International wrestling outside of Americans at all, so it's up to Willie to carry those segments and half the time Willie admits that he hasn't been keeping up with it. Kozak does the international rankings so it forces him to be in the know more.

Both podcasts have a news of the week format that makes up the bulk of the content. FRL will make up these hypothetical games (usually they'll just recycle greatest X team/wrestlers of the past Z years) to fill in the rest of the time. Baschmania has the Willie rants and deep dives into youth/obscure wrestling.

I prefer FRL, mainly due to their international coverage. For the personalities and vibes: Basch and Pyles are both the upbeat hypemen, willie is kind of like Ben where he'll get distracted or change the subject. Baschmania is a two man show so they don't have a roster like JD, Spey, Brey (I think they are ok for the most part, I like Spey's non wrestling knowledge that gives context at times).

FRL is about as good of a wrestling podcast as I can expect. I think. The only part that really annoys me with them is that they talk like wrestling began in 2003. They are practially young wrestling creationists, anything that happened before the late 90s might as well no exist to them. For Baschmania, they talk a lot about bigboards and they go over  so many minor tournaments college/youth tournies round by round (just not my type of content).

But yet here you are. You bitch that I am bitching, but come on here to comment. If FLO was free, F'g bring your dog on there and talk wrestling. The reality of it, there is nothing else out there, so I use FLO for tournaments etc. I just happened to click on FLO and see him and his kid sitting there and thought, holy $hit, he thinks the world wants to hear from his kid.

Now let's talk wrestling and your only job is to keep up with what is going on in the sport. Would you say that is his/FLO's job? They just went round table on the weights, and where they think they finish in NCAA's. I literally watched the 133/141 to see what is up and their thoughts. first off, they have Eli Griffin still at Rider as a SR and they ranked him round of 12. Griffin is done, was done last year and graduated. Should they know that? Mother of F yes! Willie can tell you what a 5th grader is doing and what tournaments he has won, and prolly tell you his best wins on the year. WHY? It is his job to know. He takes pride in everyone going to him to do rankings. He calls himself the best in the world on rankings. So, he is going to spend the time and research on knowing all there about the top talent out there. Secondly, would you think he would do his reseach on where kids are going this year? What weights? I am not certain, but I would bet Fugitt goes 141 next year, just the way the line up lays out, and Walker going up from 125 to 133. I could be wrong, but they didn't even have that as an option. FINE, I will eat it, I bitch. But, when you pay for a service, you expect good service. When you charge $150 a year for a subsription, you better be ready for criticism. I live in the world of customer service, I know. Am I salty? Sure, I know like I said, Pyles did not EARN what he got, he walked into what he got. Willie has his faults, everyone knows this. Don't ask him if you look fat in those pants, he is going to tell you the truth. BUT, I respect him for what HE has created for this sport. Pyles, just went along for the ride, he was on his knees at the right time, and here he is. I will say, I agree 100% on Pyles play by play, he is really good at that. Stick to that, and they might have something.

I will make sure next time I put Subject then a quick note: Complaint or Gripe. I want to save some of you clicking on here wasting time listening to "another bitch session"  You can just move on down the road and not have to read it.

The segment with him and his kid that the OP is also complaining about, went straight to YouTube…that was free

So your saying FLO took money from advertising and customers to pay for talent and production  then made such a shitty product they had to give it away!l

I watch every FRL. I enjoy it. I like wrestling. To my knowledge, nobody else has ever tried to do what they are doing.

I can't really get a pulse on the issue people have with them. They used to fuck up streams a lot 5+ years ago. Did their articles used to be better? I think they did, or at least I'm not as interested in them like I used to.

I mainly pay for their live events and checking various rankings, and it's worth the cost. THE PRICE HASNT CHANGED FOR A DECADE!

Do I really need to explain myself here?

You made the claim that Flo is doing something "no body else has ever tried", and I'm curious what that could be.

And yeah I think its fair for me to ask since you just said that you couldn't understand the attitude towards Flo, which has been explained a hundred times in this topic.

Trackwrestling tried, so I will correct myself there.
