Huh?  You mentioned he was a high schooler.  That is irrelevant.

He is a brute of a bull that doesn't need to shoot because of his style.  With the new grounding/pushout rule this year, he can be an effective sumo-style wrestler and win matches he would not have last year (look at his Mirasola matches).

Didn't he take down Parris with a single at the Open?

When did he beat Forrest?

I was wrong on that. For some reason I had it in my head that he won that first match this season when he secured the first couple takedowns over Jax but obviously Forrest stormed back to win in the end.

If you don't think his age is relevant in the development of his style and how far along he is with his offense, then I'll just leave it alone and move on.

having a delay because of review cameras not being available in sport where cardio is important does not sit well with me. Do not think it matters in this match but just not a good situation.

Spencer acting pissed off every time he wins is getting really tiresome. I get in his mind he is not wrestling to his best ability but its every time out it seems.

Spencer saying "Do I have to?" in response to being told that they wanted him to take the picture with the ticket was excellent!

Impressive to see Zains timing and defense looking as sound as it has after a long lay off. That being said I think I would rather Ridges point scoring ability at worlds. Zain could however just melt everyone with his handfight and pace that is not Robideau/Henson.

A whole lot of nothing at 70KG.  Congrats to Zain.

I don't know, Zain did a whole bunch of just laying on top.  He sure seemed resigned to make sure he could relax

74kg may be Jayden next topic once he grows into 74kg I did not realize how thin he is until he scrapped with Carr.

That was a little spooky. Got nervous when they had him off camera. Happy to see him on his feet

Why did they overturn that pin and exposure? Parris was conscious the whole time. Trumble got screwed.

You could see he was already out in his feet but the ref was on the other side. Parris was flat in the mat in fencing position when they ended there. It was the correct call.

That's just not true unless you have a totally different definition of "out." He tries to post his arm as he goes over and then uses his arm to try to post on Trumble's body once he's on his back.

It's unfortunate, but that's a legal move and he's conscious the whole time. Should have been a pin.

How did it come out of that original position 2-2?   Even if you take away the pin, wouldn't of been 4-2?

Also, Davino took more time to recover from hitting Jax's knee than Parris did from "being unconscious" or whatever the reason was for overturning it.

I'm a Parris fan. I'm an Indiana guy. Been watching him since he was a high school freshman.

He may have been on his way to going out, but he wasn't out. I've seen people go out in that position. They're actually limp. They're not adjusting their grip to hold on to the leg or trying to push off and bridge off their back.
