Otto and him where on a cadet world team together and that experience left some after taste... then all the self promotion is not my thing... and many other things with the entire clan... whatever... that kid is always super nice to Otto and goes out of his way to talk to him when Otto is not really one way or the other interested... and Bassett flat out wrestles... Max wrestled seniors and U20 one year at vegas and after the 3rd day he had 8 bags of ice taped to him... physically wrecked... what Bassett is doing should be acknowledged... i am a fan 100% with absolutely not buts going forward... 4 1

He holds center against anyone not named Ono. I was surprised they put him on the clock, ever, on that match. He earned that one. Again. 4-0 against Davino in FS in the last three years. The dudes had quite a career I don't think he needs to improve he's proved himself he's made an Olympic team he's made NCAA finals he's a four-time All-American not much more you can do there's just a younger Beast out there that is better than him he got them last time but it seems in the long run Schultz proves to be the better Greco wrestler

His stuff shouldn't work on most of these people but it does because he's likely significantly stronger than everyone he's wrestling. He's just picking people up off the mat while they still have a firm lock on his leg and slamming them to the mat. Also, watching his dad in the corner for him, looking like he's got to run to the bathroom ASAP, is hilarious. Edited April 26 by Le duke

The energy level (which is irrelevant) and effort outputs appear as if Davino is the only one working. That is frustrating to see. That said, Blaze is the better Freestyler and I believe has the higher ceiling at Worlds, so I am happy he is through to Final X. "I know actually nothing. Some people made a huge deal out of the fact that score was fairly close, but Mirzazadeh had a conservative style back then. He'd get a pushout or a turn. Then he would coast the rest of the match. It wasn't that Coon was at his level, which was the web that some people spun after the loss. I think Coon has had an amazing career given his technical ability and athleticism.
