I really like Mikey Caliendo. He seems like a really good hearted and likeable guy.  I feel bad for him because in any other year he's probably an ncaa champ at least one time.

I don't mind step outs.  I am mostly neutral on them.

But the idea that freestyle is better because significant parts of matches get nullified in folk is funny.

Not one time has anyone tried to answer why this (ncaa finals) are on espn and WTTs and the us open are on a Chinese iPad Roku device at 3am

there is a reason ….

Yes and Caliendo said "no it isnt"

Caliendo was a dirtbag for that move. Knows its illegal and dangerous and does it anyway.

The NCAA tv deal.

Do you seriously think freestyle athletes are unable to nullify significant parts of matches?

They do not do so by backing up out of bounds. But again, the issue is improving folkstyle, and a step out rule would be an improvement

Really?  What do you mean?

He was on his own back and didn't even try to belly out. Not saying he intended to do anything bad but it didn't look like he was trying to improve his own position at all.

Why is NCAA swimming on ESPN+ and their US open is on Peacock? Its an NCAA thing, not the wrestling style.

He's going for a big move after trying the usual stuff for the first minute or so.  To - me - it's pretty over the top to call someone a dirtbag for using a headlock.  Or a very strange standard of behavior

Messenbrink just took the lead for the Hodge.  (And, yes, I know Barr has a better bonus rate so far.)

No chance.

Well I mean same reason the college women's basketball tournament is more highly covered than  WNBA....  theres a lot of fandom tied to college teams.  Former college students (from that school) current students, their parents, etc etc... its easier to generate an audience given those circumstances.  Adults competing on their own without a natural fan base..... who wants to see that? Their familes and us degenerates
