Time will tell, of course, but you could argue Bo being at VT will be a better long-term option than Iowa would have been when it comes to competing in freestyle competitions during his collegiate career. For as much as he likes to compete, there is something to be said for not wrestling a B1G schedule year in and year out. It takes a huge toll on your body. I'm not saying the ACC is garbage, but it ain't the B1G.

Can someone rationalize them putting Snyder on the clock in the second period. He seemed to be holding center and engaging. Perhaps I don't understand the criteria well enough or perhaps it's applied inconsistently, but I swear I've watched match after match where holding center was enough to avoid the activity clock. Was this simply giving each guy a clock?

I'd probably give some grace up two weights against some of the best kids in the country, but it does appear he's not going to be able to hold 144 much longer, if at all. Reynolds really got a takedown at the end during WNO and should have won, but they didn't award it so woulda, shoulda, coulda and all that. But also, the middle weights are always seem to be competitive.

Not in the slightest. His AI-generated numbers aren't correct in large part because he's literally ignoring people of retirement age who make up a significant percentage of people below the poverty line and secondly because he's simply making up shit based on his own warped opinion of things about why people aren't working. But also because the point of the original comment wasn't about if working poor people exist but rather that the government touting improved poverty numbers of less than one percent is hilarious once you realize what the poverty threshold is and combine that with the fact that there are tens of millions more who can't afford or a struggling to afford essentials. It happens under every administration - COVID-era food subsidies claimed millions out of poverty...expect all that means is that they cleared an absurdly low dollar figure temporarily. It didn't lift anyone out of poverty. The ever-expanding group of people struggling to make ends meet at is a problem - blame who you want, blame "this generation," call them lazy with no support, and twist the numbers how you see fit, but when you start with dog whistles, you aren't worth anyone's time.

Who said anything about everyone being rich? I'm talking about working people being able to eat and keep a roof over your head - basic necessities that are obscured by some government report on who falls below a poverty line that they set. But yeah, bootstrap and all that.
