  5. There are just as credible intelligence insiders who believe it’s very possible that Iran already has a bomb, but their strategy is to refrain using it on Israel until one is used to prevent any strike from us. Most likely to be deployed from a ship off our coast as an EMP.
  6. Japan's team will be set tomorrow. Here is what they have so far 57: Sakamoto (CWC) or Yumiya 61: Suda 65: Kiyooka or Tanabe 70: Aoyagi 74: Takahashi or Sato 79:Kamiya 86: H. Ishiguro 92: T. Ishiguro 97: Yoshida 125: Yamamoto It will be far from Japan's best possible team, but it will still be very good with multiple threats for medals.
  7. I want to be clear I'm not criticizing Ben or his family about this, but the system. They are selling shirts, but also there is a donations link set up as well, and that's totally fine by me, given the system we have here.
  8. He also did it under the guise of medical treatment. He didn't just jack people off and get away with it. He'd gauge the victim and slowly progress to what he thought he could get away with. The dude was smart, a leading researcher in multiple fields. Got his education from Penn, University of Chicago, and Harvard. Multiple victims said as they were about to say something to him, he'd chime in with a rebuttal. He claimed he had to check their lymph nodes in their groin for infection. Had to check their testicles I'm guessing for masses. Had to get them naked to see their skeletal structure and check their gait. Told them "you're like a thoroughbred horse, we need to make sure you're running on all cylinders and check everything". A lot of them didn't realize they were getting abused until they found out that 1. What he was doing was not medical treatment or valid and 2. After the Michigan state scandal became public. A lot of the people that complained were convinced later that is wasn't abuse. He tried to get the doctor who finally got him fired's medical license revoked. He had lawyers threaten kids who reported him. There's countless reasons. Unfortunately, you would've gotten kicked out of the school, arrested, and probably blacklisted from wrestling for being the macho man had you been in that situation.
  9. In the world of paying college athletes, we are more likely to see all eligibility rules taken away where athletes can compete as long as they want while taking as few classes as they want, than we are to see redshirts taken away. Although of course I agree with you. Redshirts stopped making sense 30 years ago.
  10. I have no clue what his financial situation has been, but somebody independently wealthy can buy insurance and then be covered for medical expenses. The medical system isn't failing people with money. It fails people who cannot afford insurance but don't qualify for medicaid. I imagine they are fundraising for costs that are beyond what insurance would cover. Like lodging near the hospital and/or travel to and from (if they are commuting via plane). Also, a big thing for them is probably lost income. Askren was making money from appearances and things that isn't coming in anymore. Because he didn't have a 9-5 job, I doubt he had disability insurance that would cover his income. Mortgage payments don't stop just because the primary earner is in the hospital. Neither do costs associated with their kids. None of that is the fault of the medical system-rather it is a consequence of a tragedy. The other thing is buying an Askren shirt isn't really the same thing as asking for donations. His name is a brand that has value on apparel-he has sold "funky" gear for years. People wanting to buy more of his gear at the moment isn't an act of charity, although the money does help his family. It is still purchasing branded gear.
  11. Recruiting in the Class of 2027 is off and running! Sunday the 15th of June marked the first day that college coaches could have official contact with rising high school juniors. Today, we had the first commitment from the Class of 2027 as two-time Iowa 3A state champion Nico DeSalvo (Southeast Polk, IA) committed to Minnesota. DeSalvo is the #72 ranked prospect in the Class of 2027. He was ranked #13 in the nation at 113 lbs in the post NHSCA rankings, but is currently not in MatScouts national rankings. In addition to his two Iowa state titles, DeSalvo was third in 16U freestyle in Fargo in 2023. Before his sophomore season, DeSalvo finished third at USAW’s Preseason Nationals. Minnesota already has an excellent Class of 2026 recruiting class lined up with six top 200 recruits - four of which are in the top 100. DeSalvo projects at 125 lbs which is a weight where Minnesota doesn’t have a long-term answer. These are Minnesota’s recruits from the Class of 2026 and 2027: Click Here

  13. Twitter you agree with. Good and true. Twitter you don’t agree with. Unsubstantiated internet trash. got it.
  14. yes, Iraq not having WMD's totally means that Iran is not working toward a nuke or dirty bomb
  15. yes, the UN is so smart
  16. This reminds me of Iraqs supposed weapons of mass destruction in 2002.
  17. Before I watch, what makes this information correct and Israel's information incorrect?
  18. Succinct description of Iran's nuclear program, as it actually exists. You guys are falling for the WMD lies again. There's really no excuse for that kind of stupidity. Learn the lessons of history!
  19. Proud survivor of multiple shoulder injuries. Surgery sucks. I literally don't know 1 single person who didn't re-tear their shoulder. My bicep was reattach and that held but the rotator and labrum is months of recovery for an injury that is almost certain to return. I've elected to live with it versus dedicating months of recovery for a temporary fix. Cortisone works for me.
  20. Tulsi Gabbard even admitted they werent close. Nothing unique about the timing of Israel's attack except they knew trumptard would back them no matter what they did.
  21. Trumptard once again doing the opposite of what he promised. His lies are a dime a dozen.
  22. Several national news organizations were reporting it earlier this morning. I think this showing a strong message to Iran. This isn't the don't administration we had in place the last 4 years.
  23. seems very smart for ICE agents to hide Identity
