  1. Past hour
  2. Taking a shot and getting tossed isn’t creating points boss. At least for the shooter.
  3. You can go rescore the entire world championships for all the wrestlers based on who initiated action. That still won't change the score of any match. The actual score is not who initiated. The actual score is who scored.
  4. He lost a lot of momentum in his last two fights. Looked bad and afraid to go to the ground in both. Looked afraid to be punched in the last one. He will never be booked for Noche UFC or fight for a BMF title
  5. Be specific. What did they do to his knees ?
  6. We assume they don't have help from their allies (Russia/Iran/China).
  7. WAAAAA! Pay attention to me instead! WAAAAAAAA!
  8. Yes, in Minnesota 7-12 can wrestle high school varsity. Gable was runner-up at 195 as an 8th grader that year. Hall was a sophomore champ at 170 and Gross a senior champ at 138.
  9. Rodolfo was also absolutely juiced out of this planet when he was doing BJJ which I think could be why his cardio sucks so bad, much lower hematocrit without all those androgens.
  10. Coaching and wrestling for their lives...
  11. Yeah I interpreted Bo's callout of Trent as a way to avoid Zahid. Smart I guess, but I don't think Bo can handle Trent's pace
  12. North Korea must have some really smart and competent coaches. Isolated with very little to no outside cross training, and they still produce world level competitors.
  13. Never explain yourself...
  14. Thank you Interviewed...
  15. It' has become almost a cliche around here, but let me tell you about Kyle Dake's health and wellness plan...
  16. Someone want to tell him...
  17. I think that's going to be true for almost every wrestler in the not too distant future.
  18. Sorry to quote myself but I wanted to add on to this last part. I can't help but wonder how much of Spencer at this point in his career feels like he has to finish out this quad because if he doesn't win a world and Olympic title, he will look back on his career with resentment and the feeling of failure, despite all of his success. I wonder if he still enjoys the process and competing or if he is doing it simply because he feels like he has to win a World and Olympic title to feel at peace about his career. If any of you haven't watched the Kolat documentary on Flo (you're missing out, it's unbelievable btw), he says when he looks back on his career, he sees failure. He was "only" a two-time NCAA champion when he wanted 4. He wanted to be the greatest international wrestler that ever lived, but he (for various reasons) was never able to win a World or Olympic title. You can hear the disappointment and hurt in his voice when he talks about his perceived shortcomings in his own career. I can't help but think that Spencer knows that this is probably the last quad where he has a chance to achieve everything that he's worked for his entire life, and that after failing to win his 4th state title, and his 4th NCAA title, there are greater internal doubts and feelings of pressure than ever making it extremely difficult to wrestle freely and with enjoyment.
  19. I don't think the versions of Dake we saw at the Open, World Team Trials, or Final X beats the version of Ghasempour we saw. I know he didn't look spectacular on his own standards, but I think Ghasempour is just simply too strong.
  20. You understand saying it is 20-3 and saying 20/23 offensive points are the same thing, right? Those are the same numbers. I have zero problem with the finals being 13-10 because the good guy won. At this point, I honestly could care less about furthering this line of conjecture because, again, the good guy won. I would rather celebrate with you than squabble with anybody over it. I concede. THICCLAY 4 PREZ
  21. Today
  22. I voted against it. Every time. Yet more on your side voted to keep perpetuating it. 100+ years of democratic rule in Chicago. 18 of 20 largest cities in America run by democratic rule. I guess Jimmy and I could have formed our own private 2 man National Guard unit and offered it to Miriam bowser but I suspect that 3PTTD and all like him would have antifa'd our a**es. Your assertion is rejected.
  23. I noticed Bucknell had a very talented group of PA guys come through this weekend. VT had a few guys but their big weekend was two weeks ago when the wrestling team was honored at halftime for winning the ACC. Paul Kenny headlined a top notch group including Singer, Zalota, and a few more I believe. I expect one more big weekend at least. Hopefully Amato and Melvin Miller make it for an OV.
  24. He is like a 6x BJJ world champ. He is built like a marvel superhero. But... he gasses terribly. I also heard from someone who is way better at BJJ than me that Viera won his world championships on earning points and barely ever tried to submit anyone, therefore he has struggled at earning MMA submissions. But... I've also heard that Bo may not be getting the BJJ looks he needs at State College and prob needs to get some better looks, as he clearly is not that comfortable on the ground against someone good.
  25. If you recall, when he was on FRL they asked about a rematch with Zahid and he basically talked in circles around the question saying, "sure, I would wrestle Zahid, but we've already done that and I think it would be more exciting for the fans to see me wrestle someone that I haven't wrestled before.." and so on. He does not want to wrestle Zahid right now.
  26. If you read all the comments in this thread you’d know why I made the comment.
  27. Don't forget the jimmy affect.
