It's really not that surprising. I think it has more to do with the job not being political. Teaching wrestling is not a political endeavor. This kind of thing happens all the time in the public sector. Lots of career civil servants have worked under both openly republican and democrat administrations. A liberal mailman isn't going to quit because republican is in the white house. A conservative garbage man isn't going to quit because a democrat is now mayor.

Some of them. Some Universities with prominent wrestling programs are in athletic departments/schools that have had controversies with sexual misconduct, gambling, drugs, prostitution, sham classes, financial irregularities, admissions bribery, etc.

Generally the kick start to the folk season for me aside from elite 8. Seems like matchups have come out really slow this year and while there are some good ones, there are certainly not the number of awesome matchups I am use to and we are only 2 weeks out. Wondering if its going to be a smaller card this year?

I find it interesting that people who know a thing or two about federal prosecutions, because well, they’ve spent a career prosecuting federal cases, were fired because their experience tells them don’t touch this, it’s not there, and the day before statute of limitations runs out an insurance lawyer (and oddly enough beauty pageant) who has never prosecuted in her life was put on the job. To add to that intrigue is all the career law people out there, on both the liberal and conservative side, out there saying yeah I don’t know about this, this doesn’t look too strong. We’ll see how it plays out.

Imagine if we all, as ‘we the people’, could actually understand that and apply it to all corners, instead of only applying it when they say something that gives us a warm fuzzy about the ‘side’ we don’t like. It’s easy to say, but more difficult to actually practice.
