The other one was an MLRS Gunner. I was in for a total of 3 years active duty as an MLRS Gunner and then 3 years AR/NG as a medic. CRAZY, huh? Insane? I should write a book.

A week and he's never done it before - as you alluded to. He usually appears publicly at least once a day, if not more often, so going a full week without a public appearance is a bit conspicuous. He recently announced he had a vein disorder - causing his leg swelling - and then takes the longest absence of his presidency. Questions about his health are totally reasonable in that context.
