  1. Past hour
  2. I wonder where Carter is stowed away right now amidst all this.
  3. Pico…now that would be interesting. Other than Nickal, the rest I don’t think would stand a chance against a legit wrestler.
  4. Wow. Not good. The thing that surprises me the most is that they brought him back for a 5th year when they didn’t have to. The coaches had to know there was stuff going on (not sure to what extent), and they could’ve made the rest of the team a lot happier if they just let Carter move on after last year. I’m hoping they didn’t know the full extent of it or this is going to be really bad. After the football situation, I assume PSU would have to clean house IF there was some sort of cover up. I’m not convinced that’s the case though, so we will have to wait and see.

  6. Holy cow. I get fanboys trying to spin everything in their teams favor, but Beau , a multi time AA, put his name out there and said I reported these things to coach and nothing happened. Not an anonymous source or a room guy with an axe to grind. It doesn't mean there was a crime provable beyond all reasonable doubt; however, a serious contributor to PSU success has put his name and quotes behind it. That, in and of itself, tells me this is not a "nothing burger"
  7. thanks for the clarification.
  8. Don't mind me I'm just an idiot - what's this referring to?
  9. Didn't Paterno report at least some of what was going on?
  10. No. Here’s a good article IMO that explains where a lot of it is coming from, but also why it’s not true: https://www.jta.org/2025/06/18/politics/in-tearful-address-mamdani-laments-criticism-following-his-globalize-the-intifada-comments
  11. This is a rare instance where I don't think Jimmy is being sensationalistic. Lesser scandals have taken down bigger names, and those didn't take place at the site of the most notorious scandal in college sports history.
  12. There's always someone in these threads asking grok to explain something as Jar-Jar, huh...
  13. when I was deeply invested in MMA there was a pretty large contigent that wanted Lance in the UFC around the time he won the million-dollar tournament in the PFL. I think there will be people that tune in to watch him. Frankie edgar, Clay guida, Jon Jones, Aljo, Nickal, Usman, Covington, Gaethje, Pico are probably the premier names you are looking for. Obviously the dagestan contingent but those guys wont even do submission grappling stuff so I am not sure how feasible that is.

  15. Tough break for taxpayers. Most of the extra kids born as a result (if any) will cost orders of magnitude more in medicaid than the cost of the abortions.
  16. Seems to me that it WAS reported. That's how they got the security camera footage, and as a result, why Kasak was interviewed by police, remember?
  17. Maybe these two can beat the hell out of each other so we all win?
  18. Even I don't...
  19. Also if you care enough to have a nice watch that's at least a few grand for special occasions you almost certainly have a Movado/Bulova or something around 500+ that you wear daily.
  20. I mean, who could give Carter a tough go (on a good day), but also someone he felt comfortable enough to routinely sexually assault or knee in the face? Truax? Dean? Haines? Barr? Ryder?
  21. https://apnews.com/article/supreme-court-planned-parenthood-abortion-medicaid-e056395b9e5646d13539e76605027a1f Supreme Court says states can block Medicaid money for health care at Planned Parenthood WASHINGTON (AP) — States can block the country’s biggest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, from receiving Medicaid money for health services such as contraception and cancer screenings without facing lawsuits from patients, the Supreme Court ruled on Thursday. The 6-3 opinion by Justice Neil Gorsuch and joined by the rest of the court’s conservatives was not directly about abortion, but it comes as Republicans back a wider push across the country to defund the organization. It closes off Planned Parenthood’s primary court path to keeping Medicaid funding in place: patient lawsuits. ... South Carolina argued that patients should not be able file such lawsuits. The state pointed to lower courts that have been swayed by similar arguments and allowed states such as Texas to act against Planned Parenthood. The high court majority agreed. “Deciding whether to permit private enforcement poses delicate policy questions involving competing costs and benefits — decisions for elected representatives, not judges,” Gorsuch wrote. He pointed out that patients can appeal through other administrative processes if coverage is denied. mspart
  22. I liked your joke and was bummed you didn’t get more kudos This offseason plus the grey area violations of Cael’s early days at PSU would make firings and sanctions inevitable in a revenue sport.
  23. My guess is it’s a recent transfer out of PSU
