  1. Past hour
  2. I am sure he eventually will. But right now his improvement curve is fantastic. Wrestling with guys like Bassett seems to be working really well. The video of those two play wrestling is awesome. I get the idea that he should move on. There is wisdom to that. I just think it's easy to ignore how well it's working right now when you say that.
  3. Musukaev wrestled 70kg
  4. Little Jimmy still is just desperate for attention. His mom ignores him.
  5. This Musukaev?
  6. He's a gamer, with some clutch wins in his career. I hoped the Gophers would lure him in, but I'd rather see him at Michigan than Oklahoma State.
  7. Can you translate what he is saying? Thanks
  8. Shortly after committing to OSU he made a comment about probably being a 133 or having to get bigger to be a 141, and then he didn't make weight at that weight at a big tournament and dropped in the rankings. What? It's pretty obvious to me he will be 141 or 149. I think MatScouts has him at 157, but I don't think he will get that big.
  9. Who are some of the other big (or at least known) names (to most American fans anyway) who weren't (aren't) there at Worlds this year? Yazdani, Chamizo, Sadulaev (visa issues), Musukaev, Petriashvilli, Dake (lost domestically), Burroughs (lost domestically), Akgul, Micic, Ono (at Penn State), Arujau (lost domestically), Salkazanov, Taylor (retired), Cox (retired), Myles Amine Perhaps some of these faded into the sunset .... ? Or a changing of the guard? Updates on any of these guys?
  10. Today
  11. Someone on here said that @Tripnsweep is actually a teacher in AZ. (I personally don’t buy it as he’s a punk a$$ clown). If that is in fact true the post/gif he made in here about Charlie Kirk’s death would most likely be enough to break the code of conduct he signed. Conduct Unbecoming is “behavior that is inappropriate, unprofessional, or violates expected standards of integrity for a particular role or group”. Rules are signed off on for a reason.
  12. I can't remember the last time another wrestler received as much scrutiny and criticism as Lee has since starting college. Every single time he has had a bad match, let alone a loss, the comments would swarm in about how he's cooked, Iowa is cooked, the Brands have failed him/cudgled him/abused him, Dan Dennis should be fired, and all his practice partners over the years - Ayala, DeSanto, Real Woods, Jaydin and others - have been absolute bums. Perhaps he should seek out some sort of change. Based on certain comments he has made in interviews the last couple years and how ridiculously self critical he can be after close matches or losses I think seeking out a sports psychologist or paying a visit to Carl's secret California witch doctor (the one that magically fixed Gilman's broken foot) is not a crazy thing. But aside from that, the rhetoric around Lee has always surprised me. I'm an obviously biased Iowa fan but I really don't think other wrestlers get close to the same treatment
  13. Speaking for myself, if I were trying to go from #5 in the world to #1, I would try to get into a room with other world-class wrestlers.
  14. AWA kid so he will probably end up at 157/165 and win a hodge as they seem to do. Kinda joking but I think the kid has incredible potential and while I did not think he had a spot year 1 or likely year 2 I was really excited to see what that room could do for him and see if he could find a way into that lineup. Great get for Michigan hope he does awesome.
  15. He and Raney had a wild finals match at this year's Fargo. A must watch!
  16. The more I see the more I want him fired. This is not how a coach talks to a wrestler who just lost a big match https://www.instagram.com/share/_m5c1LJvE
  17. 2x Wisconsin state champ, Fargo Champ. Top 40 recruit in the class of ‘26. AWA kid who has had some fantastic matches with one of the Raineys bros.
  18. If there's no link to their federal position, job, etc then i'd say no. Might depend a bit on specifically what was said.
  19. Last name is in the title of the thread skippy
  20. I'm not sure they were all at the peak of the their powers while on the same team by the same comparison as the mccort guys but I would put that up there with Bosco. St eds had Heil Abounader walz mark martin all at one time thats a pretty nasty squad 2011 st parish graham 3 jordan brothers ryan taylor Nick Brascetta
  21. For the idiots in the back (me) - can you shine some light on who this young man is
  22. That’s true. Get him on Ghasempour’s strength training program or get him in with the Russian State Lab and he will be fine ha
  23. How has his improvement been lately while wrestling with high schoolers? Has he been benefitting or has he been hurt by his lack of training partners?
