Basset vs Raney who's 1 3 years in the making
HokieDave87 replied to Truzzcat's topic in High School Wrestling
James ever so slightly, I think he's gained some strength over the past year in addition to just being an amazing wrestler. I might wake up tomorrow and lean Melvin though he's probably a bit quicker than James. -

VT isn't for everybody but if it's your type of place you will fall in love with it immediately. Wrestling program does a great job showcasing the VT wrestling community and the extended community around Blacksburg. I'd agree Seidel is plug and play. His style is perfect for the NCAA rule set, great at mat-wrestling, extremely strong, and neutral danger will help him. Same with Collin Gaj but he needs a year in the weight room, Chance is doing a great job preparing kids for the next level though.

The payout for this will be the biggest in UFC history. Jones will fight one more time. He wins then he is the GOAT hands down especially since it is against the current #1 true heavyweight champion in all rankings. If not, just one of the greatest. There is no true GOAT just a group of greats. Jones has a chance here to go out on top against the baddest man on the planet and secure his place as the undisputed undefeated GOAT and then retire!

White Conservatives are the biggest threat

What does she have to say about protecting black and brown in Chicago is the topic at hand. I haven’t seen her Israel stance. I don’t follow her -

Maybe you should ask the guy that started this thread that. -

You should see what she has to say about Israel -
The coaches and team seam to make great impressions on the kids when they visit, Bassett spoke very highly of the program as did James even after not committing. Seidel was in my opinion there best get last year I think he is a plug and play guy that could push for the podium. Burton needs to develop a little offense imo but he is super stingy.

who do you lean in that match? My immediate thought is Melvin, but Jayden is so good hip to hip and is good at getting there and I am not sure how Melvin deals with that. -

Would be irresponsible for them to not make this match happen -
57 - lee 61 - suda as he has momentum 65 - no one repeats at 65, but Kiyooka wrestled Amouzad and Amouzad couldn't really do anything to him. I will take Kiyooka 70 - No clue , maybe Aoyagi 74 - Takahashi - pure hunch 79 - Usmanov - Nokhodi is bound to win this weight at some point as he has been right there these past few years and probably should have won in 2024, but he hasn't wrestled a tournament or even an official match since last years worlds. 86 - Ghasempour 92 - Firouzpour - reasonably confident 97 - Tazudinov - I think he will win and win in style 125 - Zare - the only guy who could actually wrestle him for 6 minutes was Akgul and he is gone. Someone would need to score big points on him very early and put him in a huge points hole( or tech him) to beat him and while it seems he has a match like that once in a while, I don't see it happening in this field.

Jealous. I don't have any beautiful scenery around me currently other than my wife. -
Well sure ... but just think if he'd wrestled a kid named "Carl."

VT isn't broke but we aren't buying our way into the recruiting process. Burton was a great evaluation, he committed when he was a top 50 guy and then had that amazing run that made him a top 10-15 type of guy. OSU threw some cash at him after that but he stuck around for less. On the flip side Iowa threw a bag at CJ Torres after he signed and we just let him go - either couldn't or didn't want to spend more. We fund-raise well but usually overachieve on the recruiting front compared to budget.

Trump Admin says GOP Releasing Epstein Files Act of War
Caveira replied to Doublehalf's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
Regarding the Jeffrey Epstein files, the claim that their release is an act of war is not true. It stems from political rhetoric and unsubstantiated conspiracy theories surrounding the ongoing effort to make more documents related to the case public
