Trump doesn't know if he's supposed to uphold the constitution
Bigbrog replied to Tripnsweep's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
What is ignorant is you keep saying he said something, or inferred something that he didn't...all because you, which you clearly stated, don't believe context matters. -

Bigbrog replied to Caveira's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
Let me ask all those screaming "DUE PROCESS" (Vak, RV, UB, etc.)...if an illegal alien and/or work/school visa person from another country is caught breaking the law, school policy/code of conduct, etc., would you consider it "due process" if the DA decided to not press charges (or in the case of the school they were going to kick them out) because they would be deported anyway for said offense after discussion with ICE and/or the school and thus the person is deported?? -
Plessy v Ferguson was from 1896. So congrats for not knowing your history. I believe you might have been trying for Brown v Board of Education, but that decision was in 1954. And I don't know why you'd be looking to bring up a 130 year old SC decision. The point of this post isn't what is in the constitution, or what interpretation there is for parts of it It is that our current president is either ignorant of what his job entails, or cares so little he never bothered to familiarize himself with what he's supposed to do.

My opinion on the matter is that both you and Rasta are essentially right at the same time.

Walz is so out of it. He is the Governor of Minnesota and had no idea how much stock the pension funds owned of Tesla. The Minnesota pension fund lost 400 million dollars when Tesla's stock fell 200 hundred dollars. He was cheering for it to keep dropping. What a dunce. Now he is thinking about running for President.

185 is deep. I'd have him at #9 with a fight set up against Strickland. Yes he's a title contender if the chips fall his way. I don't think he can beat Imavov but can beat Driscus.

Alvarez can’t have another year…can he ?
1032004 replied to Cornell Kevin's topic in College Wrestling
Last year was literally his first NCAA tournament. I know he may have gotten beat out at least one year and was having weight issues at one point, but he also had the 2020 tourney taken from him, and was seemingly injured at least one maybe more of the other years. I have less of a problem with him getting another tournament than anyone getting 5. -
Does it make any sense that the European Union has sent more money to Russia for the purchase of oil and gas than they have to Ukraine’s defense.
-
Yes he is. I took mspart's statement as in a career.
-
But RDR is only ranked #13 (or I guess #14). Does that make him a “legit contender for the title”?

Isn’t Chimaev?

Who is the next Hall of Famer?
Wrestleknownothing replied to Wrestleknownothing's topic in College Wrestling
You, Sir, are a Hall of Fame prognosticator. I completely missed this whenever it was posted (no date on the article, but it mentions the vote was 10/29/2024), but we have a winner. From the ranks of college wrestlers Darryl Burley and Greg Wojciechowski are members of the class of 2025. Other Distinguished Members of the Class of 2025 were Matt Lindland (greco) and Terry Steiner (coaching). https://nwhof.org/news/national-wrestling-hall-of-fame-announces-class-of-2025 -

Where did all the Penn State guys in the portal land? There were like 8 or 9 of them and I only saw 3 sign (Facundo and Ryder to OK St and Evans to UVU) -
Big deal. I wear a belt every day. Nobody will even challenge me for my belt. Today my pants have a belt BUILT IN. Maybe Nickal has pants that fit perfectly and doesn't need a belt.

mspart replied to Caveira's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
This I was not aware of. I was going to say lets see if the folks arrested are charged and tried. If this is true, then not good. They did $1 million in damage to the building. They should be held accountable. I was hoping for students arrested to be expelled and all those arrested to be charged. But this is Seattle, that is not the likely outcome. Seattle Times states that 21 students were suspended. The suspended students have been banned from all college campuses. I can't find where anyone has yet been charged with crimes. mspart -
Pretty sure this trumps NIL $ in just about any amount…
Go Hokies replied to Chris Taylor's topic in College Wrestling
Coach Robie is a great guy!!! Being a former Hokie wrestler and just finishing my 28th year of coaching in Virginia, I have been able to have some great conversations with him. Been fortunate enough to have coached two kids who wrestled for him and he was inducted to the National Hall of Fame the same night as my father. He is a very genuine person, and a straight shooter. The Hokies may never win a team national title, but there is not any other person I would want to lead us in Blacksburg. This is an unbelievably selfless act and resonates with me what a tremendous person Coach Robie is. - Today

And Ukrainians aren’t? They’re not a democracy. They were considered one of the most corrupt countries in the world before Hunter and Joe became involved. It hasn’t changed So the Ukrainian deaths are worthwhile? Especially since Zelensky agreed to a settlement with Putin in about the first three months until Biden convinced Boris Johnson to tell him not to sign it, that we would provide what he needed to win. Too late. We have had boots on the ground for years. They are not listed as such, but they’re there. I don’t think we can afford for you to be wrong. Hell, we couldn’t afford what we’ve already spent. NATO, for all its bluster, has admitted that for Ukraine to succeed in pushing Russia back to pre-invasion borders will require substantial U.S. troop involvement. They have nine times the money that Russia has, yet they can’t muster a military response to Russia without us.

Jon Jones if you accept the Dominick Reyes decision and former champ Khabib if you accept the Gleison Tibau decision.

Bigbrog replied to Caveira's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
The funny part of it is if those Jan 6 folks who did cause destruction to the capital building where illegals and/or on a work/school visa, I'd say deport them without charging them with anything and never let them return. That to me would be their "due process". -
I think Bo has been properly labeled as a high level prospect. That outcome can go both ways. As for RDR I think he's properly rated. Outside the noise and spectacle of the last fight he was and still is considered a legit contender for the title. He's up there in age so the window is small.
