I never even heard of Hiram and I have no idea where "Western State" is - sounds like a made up college for a National Lampoons flick. And being an IL native, the fact that SIU Carbondale had 3 D1 national champs is pretty damn mind blowing. Times have certainly changed in the college wrestling world.

I know several people in the same situation. They are all handled their citizenship issues. BTW how do you pay taxes without a SSN?

There’s a zillion coach-speak phrases pre prepared for these situations. “we’re looking into it, we don’t tolerate this kind of behavior, not our values” etc I don’t really care, but it is odd given how often athletes get in trouble and coaches have to at least pretend to care about it.
