  1. Past hour
  2. I wouldn’t say those are excuses. I think Yianni looked like the better wrestler but he made some sloppy mistakes. Duke capitalized so he was the better wrestler today. I think we all just see the potential in Yianni and it’s frustrating to see him lose matches that it appears he could’ve won. Doesn’t take away from Duke at all! What he did was amazing! He’s the future here and I’m excited to see what he can do.
  3. Today
  4. Your grandfather sounds like a hardworking, well-educated (largely self-educated) man. Too bad his apple fell off the tree, rolled down a hill, then off a cliff, and into a ditch full of hate toward strangers.
  5. One who got killed was a weird crazy person who just wanted to kill somebody famous. Nobody ever heard him talk about politics, and it seems like it was just a crime of opportunity, and Trump just happened to have a rally closer to him than anyone else important. Other guy no idea. Sounds like a crazy person but we'll see at his trial.
  6. But what is the question you are asking? If you're asking if "Done is better than perfect" - the answer is No, PERFECT is always better EVERY SINGLE TIME. If getting it done poorly because it's the best than can be done given the time frame. Then it's better than nothing. Or maybe the best we could do at the time, etc. But that, in no way, makes it "better" than perfect. It simply doesn't.
  7. You should at least consider what may be much worse than a little. Underestimating an enemy is one of the oldest and greatest mistakes. And, make no mistake, Russia is one of biggest enemies.
  8. Not joking. Presidents are not Kings. None of them. The current one is the only one that appears to want to be one. And - note that I'm focusing on future Presidents as wanting to be Kings. Those are the ones I consider the greatest threat by far. Trump is a mush brain and on his last legs, he'll be gone in a few years. This isn't about that guy. Judges and courts and lawyers do their thing. They've been doing it forever and it hasn't always been great, but it's always been pretty good. That's better than what we've been seeing in the Executive Branch arena as of late.
  9. Minnesota shooting suspect told friend in text message: I might be dead soon | Reuters Pol Pot was behind another Domestic Terrorist attack...
  10. You moreso than others. You cited Pol Pot as the largest Domestic Terrorist threats. You see Pol Pot shoot up any Democrats today?
  11. Delete. Comment already made by others.
  12. We’ll find out next year when Brooks moves up
  13. LOL... PSU has a World Champ, a guy who just took 3rd and now a World Team Member all joining their record breaking team last year. Wrestlers who will score a single team point for Iowa in the future-0 Wrestlers who will score points for Penn State in the future. Duke beat a 4X Champ and a World Silver Medalist... Blaze just smoked a guy who's a 3X AA and took 2nd at a weight higher than he'll Wrestle! Haines won easily and Mesenbrink is running through 165 the next 2 years. But impressive little narrow pathway for Iowa to tie PSU in...some way!
  14. Marcus Blaze future World/Olympic Champ or medalist? I think so.
  15. Hopefully
  16. Does anyone have much for Snyder domestically (at this point in time)?
  17. What's the training situation like for the guys who just made World Team between now and Worlds? Do they just go back to their RTCs? Do they all go to Colorado Springs together? Do any of the National Team members help them prepare?
  18. I have no idea but I’m sure people said they same exact thing when Synder took out Varner for the spot ,PJ Duke was in high school literally last week , he ll have the next few months to train with team USA and the NLWC and there isnt really any tape on him for people to gameplan against and I’m sure he ll wake up tomorrow more confident then he’s ever been, the sky is the limit for him right now yianni clearly out wrestled him in match 1 but duke scored 15 straight on him in match 2 and match 3 they wrestled close until Duke pinned him off a single ,something u see in JV match so I think they were equal today if anything not hating on yianni it just seems disrespectful to the guys that beat him that it always get written off like yianni just had an off day or something and not the other just going and taking it
  19. Do you really think after those 3 matches PJ will do better against the field? If you do then I can not refute you I think yianni out wrestled him for the most but I absolutely think pj is the future.
  20. For the last 7 years every time yianni loses it’s the same story , oh he was the better wrestler , oh he would ve medaled but the other guy won’t , he’s made 2 teams in 7 years and medaled once ..every time he loses people just make the same excuses
  21. PJ Duke, are you kidding me, wow! I thought that Yianni’s experience would prevail but obviously PJ had other plans. Congrats to him. I like the youth movement, I think it’s kind of exciting.
  22. My take on Kyle Dake is that he’s undersized for 86. I know that he is an incredible wrestler, but I believe that Zahid’s size proved to be the biggest difference in this series. My next thought is what does Dake do next, go back down or does he retire from competition and follow DT into coaching, which I would love to see.
  23. how quickly they forget https://x.com/AF632/status/1934080680562176502
  24. what do we know about the two who tried to assassinate trump?
  25. Oh, I didn't know Geno isn't competing this year. That helps. Let's hope Wyatt and Zare are on opposite sides of the bracket
