No - that is not a separate issue/conversation at all. We're talking about the Qatar jet being "given" to the US and what a historic failure it is on so many levels: The current AF-1's are the best of the best in the air right now. No other jet in the world comes close. They are in great working order. The Qatar jet is garbage compared to the AF-1's currently in service A Qatar $400 million jet that costs $1B to upgrade to make usable is an incredibly dumb investment I have no doubt Trump advisors have made this clear to him. It has a shiny interior with a lot of use of gold - those with mush for brains like that. It won't be done in time for Trump to use it before the end of his term. It's a bad look for Trump to take sloppy seconds from Arab's "old" cast away planes Boeing contract for (2) AF-1 aircraft is still moving along and due within a few years No changes have been made. These will eliminate any use of the Qatar stand-in. (The stand-in that would cost $1B to upgrade.) Will be done within a year/two of the projected time frame of any dumb Qatar jet upgrade. There is no logical explanation for Qatar becoming AF-1. Zero. None. So what is actually going on here? You're hearing it here first. The Qatar jet becoming AF-1 is a lie. An outright lie. It is too incredibly stupid a move for even the Trump administration to try to make happen. Instead, Trump will soon announce he will be making the Qatar jet available for non-AF-1 government use. For other government departments and/or personnel. Oh wait, didn't WKN just mention Kristi Noem wants to spend $40 million for a new jet? Perfect spin, Trump "saves" the taxpayers $40 million by giving her his Qatar jet. If it's not exactly that, it will be very, very close. Politicians are nearly all criminals. And Trump is the biggest swamp criminal in the history of presidents.

Follow along. this was a two-prong debate. 1-He's arguing it's the physicality of a 22 year old vs that of an 18 year old that makes the difference, ergo, Ono won't have a problem. So one person is arguing Ono won't have a problem getting out due to...his age and physical maturity, the other is arguing he will because it's something he's NEVER had to do and now he's Wrestling the best in the world at it. I'd also point out, the same person said he'd be fine on top because of his Gut Wrench...which again, is objectively absurd for obvious reasons. The primary being...it's not legal in this style. The other being, you don't have a guy just laying on the mat, you have someone actually moving and trying to come up and you have to develop a series of moves on top, not just a gut.

I don't know... a lot of people are very literal about the Bible. I have an Uncle who...when I was trying to make sense of this Religion that I'd been taught all my life(I won't say indoctrinated, I would just say it's just what you did, you went to all the Lutheran stuff, it was just...something you had to do). But I was asking 'Ok, but you don't really believe someone lived for 3 days inside a Whale, right?" And he said "yup." And then I'd asked, 'ok, how about the part where you can sell your daughter into slavery if they disobey you,' and he started to justify slavery in certain situations ...and I just tapped out. I said I can wrap my head around these having messages and...all that, but if you mean all this is 100% literal, I think that's just too hard for me. But...that's what he...and many others believed.

I just think it's a poor decision...in most cases. In Wrestling, I think it's probably about as good of an area to be conservative and promote that than anywhere else. The sport absolutely skews to the right towards conservative Christian values. So looking at endorsement deals, I get it. I've worked in sales and now own a small business and there's absolutely no reason for me to put my name and political or religious views points out there for public consumption. The old Jordan, "Republicans buy sneakers too," comment. I mean... Jordan's opinions reached a billion people, maybe more. Mine reach...like 12, but still, seems like an overall good philosophy.

I’m honestly kinda surprised that MAGA folk don’t seem to care about this guy, but I guess they’re consistent about not caring about non-citizens (except for white South Africans for some reason). In reality, this guy is a better example for the left to use but many of them may not care about him either since he was a MAGA guy. Supposedly this guy has never been accused of any crimes other than not filling out one form, and reportedly was even told in 2024 that “nothing is outstanding at this time.”

Uh the school has a benedictine abbey on site. There are plenty of reasons for a non catholic to go to a catholic school but it's not just a catholic school for nostalgia, that place literally houses a bunch of monks. It's as Catholic as they come.

I wrote this in another thread but if I’m Dake, it’s a sumo match. Yes, that makes me feel dirty. Dake can beat Zahid if he can keep it close the first three minutes and scores some 1pt moves in the second period. Zahid was falling apart at the end of their previous match.
