Program culture issues at NLWC/PSU? Thomas Gilman
scourge165 replied to Caveira's topic in College Wrestling
I mean, to be fair, I'm open to someone who is more educated. I also took him saying that it was a "myth," to mean that those strains weren't actually designed for that. Perhaps I'm wrong. Maybe it's just one type gets you up and going more than the other. I don't know, my experience is pretty limited because it's never worked, but from the way people talk about how the stuff they use works for them, I'd be more than willing to try it again. I've even had Doctors recommend it...or if not recommend it, ask me if I've tried. -
I didn’t say it’d be “condoning” prostitution, I said some people could see it that way. So I wouldn’t be surprised if the admin didn’t want him there. Were Taylor and Snyder close?

Yes. Maybe he tried the Fix family water bottle but it still wasn’t helping him cut enough weight -

Ok...it'd be GREAT if I could find something that helped with inflammation and does what seemingly EVERYONE else says weed does for them...but I'm skeptical...but I'll try it. So...would most weed places have CBG? I'm ENTIRELY ignorant about this stuff. Also, when you say it's a myth(the Indica/Sativa)... do you mean some people find it calming or relaxing, but that's not what it's for whereas this stuff is specifically designed for relaxation and pain? Message me because...I'm fully willing to take this and I've even had Doctors tell me if I'm not going to take something for pain, I should try it and I've never found anything that's worked. -

Anecdotes are weak evidence, but personal experience is the only thing that matters here. Scourge said, "I've tried it several times and found it unpleasant." It's not a myth that he felt like this. Fwiw I too have never had a pleasant experience: never felt relaxed, never had the giggles, never got the munchies, etc. I'm not sure if I would call my experience paranoia, but I become anti-social and want to be left alone. What makes it worse is that I feel guilty for feeling this way when everyone else is socialiable. The only times I've had a different experience were when I decided to drink, too. Then, I feel violently ill on top of the extreme self-consciouness. -
I get what you're saying and...it feels like we should have been done talking about this like...3-4 days after he was done, but it was just a classless thing to say. Who was he even saying it to? And these guys seem to lack the self-awareness to see how similar their religion is. They both believe in the same god. Look up the list of Countries you can be killed for just for insulting Jesus(they're not Christian Countries). I thought Jesus and Muhammed were both "favored" prophets. And I get in one Religion Jesus is God and...the Son and that's always tripped me up, but I'm not here for Sunday school. But anyway... it seemed like a silly thing to bring up for no discernible reason and it seems silly to KEEP dragging him over it. They all thump that book(BTW, anyone actually have someone hold up a Bible while hitting it? I have...."IT'S ALL IN HERE, HE HAS RISEN" said my Uncle...ready to stroke out when I asked him a question once! Made me laugh as it was literally the first time I'd seen an ACTUAL Bible thumper).

The moral differences between Hamas and Israel are stark. If Hamas had the ability to eliminate Israel, they would. Israel has that ability but doesn't Hamas drained their fresh water table to allow for the construction of terror tunnels and blame Israel for their lack of water. Hamas plays leftists like a fiddle, they launch missiles from schools then lefties cry about bombing schools. They blew up their own hospital and they usual suspects blamed Israel. Hamas has complete control to end this war they started.

CBG is an anti anxiety strain. Also an anti inflammatory. Then there is CBN for sleep. The Indica/Sativa stuff and how they affect you is a myth -
I like where your head is at but I have a better idea for the walkout song

Yeah...not my experience. EVERYONE else can do what they want to do...I'm not judging. I'm saying... I can't handle any of them. The last time it was some... Indica...whatever. Couldn't sleep and I was paranoid. It just doesn't work for me. That's it. - Today

Penn State 2025-2026 lineup (updated)

LOL...go back and read the thread dude! I didn't change my position. You did! I didn't complain about anything. I literally said I thought Ono could win without going down. You think he'll be able to get out of the bottom from anyone because... as you said, he's more physically mature and he has experience. You're the one who realized what a bad bet this was for you...and I gave you an out. Take it without being a dick. -
Genocide scholars around the world, including those in Israel, have reached a near consensus: Yes. Israeli Genocide Scholar, Schmuel Lederman, rejected the genocide label last year. Now, he's changed his mind. The evidence is now undeniable. https://www.commondreams.org/news/israel-is-committing-genocide-in-gaza Israeli scholar Shmuel Lederman of Open University of Israel "opposed the genocide label" until Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government flouted the International Court of Justice's January 2024 order to prevent genocide by allowing emergency aid into Gaza and halting top officials "incendiary language on Palestinians." Israeli leaders have called Palestinians "human animals" and "Amalek"—an ancient enemy in the Hebrew Bible who Israelites were commanded to exterminate. Lederman also began to see his government as genocidal after the Israel Defense Forces seized control of the Rafah crossing last year, cutting off the only humanitarian aid route as international experts warned famine was imminent, and as analysts warned the true death toll in Gaza could ultimately be close to 200,000. "For me personally, the combination of this and the continued destruction of Gaza made the turn from harsh criticism of the crimes Israel is committing in Gaza and warnings that we are getting close to that place, to the perception that the cumulative effect of what Israel is doing in Gaza is genocidal in every sense," said Lederman on the social media platform X on Thursday. "I think the second half of 2024 is the point at which a consensus emerged among genocide researchers (as well as the human rights community) that this was genocide. Those who may have still had doubts—I estimate that they have dissipated following Israel's actions since the cease-fire was broken."

I think that's the point.

you're aware that Gilman didn't compete after he went to OKST, right? -
Oh...really? You think Okie State is going to say no to Snyder and a guy who Taylor likely has a relationship with over that? I also don't think it's "condoning" prostitution. I would think they'd want him there for...anyone. Any '97 they have or just because he's a great Wrestler.

"White Genocide" in South Africa
uncle bernard replied to uncle bernard's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
@Husker_Du has time to suspend posters he disagrees with, but not explain why 30 dead white people constitute a "genocide" while 50,000+ arabs don't. -
Through Christ, all things are possible. We're all sinners and we all stray from the path and it's at our lowest moments, it's those closest to us are there to help pull us up from rock bottom. And then...some interview where she's part of it. That's my guess.
