I'm glad you're starting to see the flaws in your worldview. "When you have a prevailing dogma [a stereotype in your case]....and you present facts which take chunks out of this dogma, then you present people with a problem. They can either modify their worldview to include the new knowledge, or discount the new as 'bogus.'" That is exactly what you did in this thread. You presented the common stereotypes that align with your priors as fact and rejected the ones that don't align with your priors as dangerous and incorrect. There's no more justification for "liberals are lazy/don't work hard" than there is for "conservatives are racist." But one is dogma for you and the other isn't. And that's where your thinking stops. The real world never actually comes into play.

Good luck with this with Jimmy. No matter how many times you say what he wants you to say, he'll still pretend you didn't say it. In fact, he actually gets even madder when you do say the right thing.

It's amazing seeing all these people for whom Charlie Kirk was so important and beloved be seemingly totally unaware of the things Charlie Kirk actually said.

Yes... today's Baked Spud goes to Booger. (...and no snotty remarks, m'kay?) D3

Has a high school ever had a better big 3 than McCort?

Technically it could be a big 4 as little Bassett looks to be a top 10 recruit in his class when its all said and done. -
Carr has to beat Valiev and Sidakov (assuming they roll) to even get to the finals. Tough draw. Rooting for him!!!

Officially placing my bet on a far-right groyper who also happened to have some interaction with an undercover FBI agent (who likely played a part in his radicalization).

That's fair - I view McNeil as a weird isthmus; he's not in the tier w/ Henson and SVN but I kinda view him above Stiles (even though they split last year) and the rest of those below but he's not fully separated. I guess I would be pretty shocked if Evans beat McNeil (begrudgingly Stiles is probably on the isthmus w/ McNeil and I just don't want to admit it) Also - young ScottishSteel spent some time in Buffalo in his 20s and let me tell you; poutine is an excellent 4 AM drunk food

Ah he was a Derry kid circa 2007 so a bit before you tuned in -
I hope so. I wish we could go without all the court preceding's and have a good old hanging out in the open for all to see. Just like in the old west. Just have him go in front of a judge and the judge says guilty. Then he goes straight to the gallows and it's over. Justice needs to be swift. The man that tried to assassinate President Trump is just now going to trial. What a joke. How many months will the trial last.

Incredible deductive reasoning here.

So was the Starocci thing a fluke...???

He's been at NLWC practices recently. The NLWC IG account showed him wrestling Snyder. I have no thoughts on the veracity of the story told by the user "Beau Bartlett" on the PSU forum. I hope that, if any of what was said is true, victims are able to come forward if they so choose and find justice. If Carter is guilty of bad shit, hang him out to dry. On the other side, Carter was put on the SafeSport banned list for a bit. I assume that SafeSport did their best and could not corroborate the complaint(s) made against him. Carter's name has since been removed from the SafeSport banned list, which is why he is eligible to practice at NLWC. SafeSport in itself, and as an idea, is a great thing. In an ideal world, it protects victims (and potential victims) while the legal system does its thing. In a less than ideal world, it is weaponized by people for all sorts of potential reasons and results in the loss of employment and reputation for the accused. One thing I'm unaware of: can you even appeal a SafeSport suspension? Let's say someone files a complaint against a Final X competitor, oh, two days before the event. Is there a mechanism to attempt to clear the name of the accused? -
Not faked but definitely suspicious.

You and GreatWhiteNorth probably think the whole thing was faked.
