The United States is a Religious Freedom-focused country. Some choose to exercise that via christianity. But let’s not conflate a collection of individual choices with the structural intent of the country.

No, the interesting thing for me re: Dake is he found Jesus while training at Penn State. So I wouldn’t be surprised if Cael is preaching it a bit (at least at the RTC practices)

Our boy Mo(hammad) also has some pretty good international market coverage.

Carr was the youngest Olympian in U.S. wrestling history, competing at the 1972 Summer Olympics while still in high school as a 17-year-old. He also competed at the 1971 World Wrestling Championships at 52 kg (114.5 pounds) as a 16-year-old.

The quantity of HS challenging the senior-level of wrestling now is quite surprising to see. (Was a rarity before... now becoming more prevalent today.) D3

I don't know in what direction Grey (note the spelling that Cornell fans probably should know) is moving the needle that you disagree with. He seems to be a religious guy, but he keeps that to himself. In the Class of 2025, there are four NJ guys, one NY guy (Elijah D), one PA guy (Correa), and two California guys (Cortez brothers), not to mention he-who-got stolen from AZ. All in the top 60 in Flo's Big Board. Class of 2026 has five guys in the top 100: one each from CA, PA, OK, CO, and VA. I like that needle direction.

The USA was one of the first to explicitly set up a *separation* of church and state in the constitution to allow folks to follow or not follow whatever they want.

Those pesky immigrants procreate a lot
red viking replied to Caveira's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
It's funny. The wingers constantly talk about how important it is to procreate, but then become infuriated when non whites procreate. Apparently it's only good when whites procreate; not other races. -
Well... 2028 is a little less three more years. He would be 40 by then. https://www.nbcsports.com/olympics/news/jordan-burroughs-wrestling-2025 D3

What do people want wrestlers & athletes to believe in, if not their faith? The United States is a Christian-focused country, and a lot of its upper echelon will proclaim their faith as their driving factor. Is this not probably the same in other countries with their corresponding religion? Instead of going to a dark place and becoming an asshole during a rough patch of life, he leaned on faith. Do we have to hate that?

Real Woods Says he’s fairly new to freestyle
D3 for LU replied to Masonbuckeye's topic in International Wrestling
It used to be... that NCAA college champs and AA's that were quite good at TD could transition to the international style and nab a medal or two at the Worlds & Olympics. Usually attending training camps w/ the team and have intensive work on what & what NOT to do in freestyle. (A lot w/o extensive knowledge of the FS rules.) Obviously those times have changed... but some are quick learners. D3 -
nit nation=having fun= more energy=seeing the LIGHT= JESUS!!! ( ,,,wow... what a revelation.) D3

Blaze has strong Daton Fix vibes. I'd take Duke over Jax for now but it's exciting to watch

No chains around my feet but I’m not free. I know I am bounded in captivity. And I’ve never know what happiness is. And I’ve never known the sweet caresses. I’m always laughing like a clown. Won’t someone help me, because I’ve got to pick myself off up the ground. In this concrete jungle. I say, what do you got for me now?
