  1. Past hour
  2. Well he is one of those deaths now.
  3. So the GIF you posted earlier is you inviting problems. Got it.
  4. Are you ok with smoking. Over half million people die from smoke related deaths each year. Heart, lung among other diseases. Are you ok with alcohol. Over 100 thousand deaths a year from drunk driving and a whole host of medical issues. Are you ok with cars. Over 50 thousand die each year in car accidents. Please put Charlie words in the context in which he said them. Unless you can regulate Hateful people, Evil people and Mentally deranged people you will not stop them from killing others. They don't need guns in order to kill others.
  5. And I said it was ?
  6. Trump needs to tone down his instigating rhetoric. Otherwise, more of this is going to happen and it will go both ways. Already is.
  7. you are free to not be shot for your speech
  8. Yes. If the mistakes were a random walk (statistically) then no one would be carping . Or everyone would. But when the mistakes are skewed there is someone tipping the scales. BLS is in a 92% partisan location. My hypothesis is that their statistical errors are statistically significant which shows a causation effect. Maybe one of our numerically gifted colleagues can prove or disprove my hypothesis.
  9. Are auto deaths worth the freedom to drive?
  10. I agree with Charlie
  11. How does that saying go about live by the sword? FAFO. Thoughts and prayers. Can't ask for change when change has been whole-heartedly rejected for DECADES.
  12. Even worser is saying gun deaths are worth it. https://www.newsweek.com/charlie-kirk-says-gun-deaths-worth-it-2nd-amendment-1793113
  13. Yes that is bad. But even worse is the reaction of some Dems in Congress.
  14. Mathew Dowd is a pretty sick individual.
  15. I don't think anyone deserves it. But when you start up with that kind of behavior, and say things like how it's ok for people to die as long as we have our right to carry guns, it's more like you're inviting problems.
  16. C. The Covid shot is not a vaccine.
  17. Give me a grad student any day of the week over the underclassmen. Definitely has Ag School vibes based on the fact they turned it into jerky and summer sausage. Yikes! https://ithacavoice.org/2025/09/cornell-students-found-skinning-bear-carcass-in-campus-residence-hall/
  18. Nah. Let them eat cake.
  19. You totally avoided the question. Can you tell me how to regulate Evil people, Hateful people or mentally deranged people? I'm trying to be serious. By your standards are you saying that all the politicians who use nasty hateful rhetoric should all be shot?
  20. Thoughts and prayers, the same powerful message that is shared at every school shooting. https://www.newsweek.com/charlie-kirk-says-gun-deaths-worth-it-2nd-amendment-1793113 Of course, Illinois Governor candidate (again!) Darren Bailey said it best IMMEDIATELY after the Highland Park 4th of July parade shooting:
  21. It won't affect a two horse race. Ok State can only start 10 guys...as noted they have potentially 13 guys in 5 weights... not keeping everyone happy and having some leave to become AA at other schools is a good thing. Ask BearClaw and UVU how that worked out and it didn't hurt PSU one bit, because they can only have 10 guys. So I'm all for not keeping the PSU and Ok States of the world happy.
  22. ahh ... now I remember. A friend of mine drove his Model A pickup to our Fri am coffee meeting last week. Yeah let's bring back them days ... don't forget the horse hair.
  23. So, you are saying anyone who says dumb things on the right or left its ok for someone to shoot them (they deserve to die) It just serves them right for saying something dumb. That had it coming to them.
  24. But... you DO agree with it. WHATABOUTISM hypocrite too.
  25. Where did I wish death on anyone?
  26. You don't act like a jackass in public and say things for shock value or attention? Seems like a pretty good way to avoid that. There used to be a "street preacher" around here who used to yell that women deserve rape and got the police called on him for standing outside a local mosque while armed, yelling at people and ripping up the Koran. He stood outside of a high school and yelled stuff at the students there. Somebody didn't like it and hit him over the head with a baseball bat. If you do things like that for long enough, you might face some pushback, and it might not be very polite. So it's not necessarily a good or evil thing, it's about doing things that you know could provoke an irrational response.
