  3. I think age is also a factor. The top D1 guys tend to stick around freestyle longer, maybe a year or two longer then they should because they hold on to that Olympic/World dream. By the time they jump into MMA, it would naturally be more difficult because you missed out on the training while still focused on your other goal. I saw Chael Sonnen even talking about Gable Steveson's MMA chatter and recognizing at 24, he's actually near the end where he need to either start training now or it isn't going to happen successfully if the clock keeps ticking. A lot of the wrestlers that are doing well, D2, D3 guys, etc, didn't stick around freestyle after college, they jumped into the next venture. So it's the younger wrestlers without the college accolades doing well, and the older guys, who were actually better on the mat, often not living up to the hype. If the top guys jumped right in after college, I think they'd do the as well or better than the D2, D3, but they just have other goals at that age.
  4. i don't think Villasenor is going to go to OKST. he's definitely 'open'
  5. He didn't deserve it...
  6. if he is truly walking around at 215-220 he should work on putting good size and fight at light heavy. The skill discrepancy between those two divisions is immense and he would have much more favorable matchups on paper.
  7. How many of those 3 guys started their career in the UFC? I'll answer for you... Only Bo...
  8. What a good guy, V-tech always shows up on kids short lists for schools and I would imagine it's from the impact those coaches make on the kids.
  9. Robie is a good dude. Harsher but way more real and way less scummy than most of his peers.
  10. Here are the estimated numbers of deportations without full due process (such as expedited removal) per U.S. president: Jimmy Carter (1977–1981): ~1.5 million Ronald Reagan (1981–1989): ~2.7 million George H. W. Bush (1989–1993): ~1.3 million Bill Clinton (1993–2001): ~12 million George W. Bush (2001–2009): ~2 million Barack Obama (2009–2017): ~2.5 million Donald Trump (2017–2021): ~900,000–1 million Joe Biden (2021–Present): Significantly lower compared to previous presidents, though exact numbers are variable and less focused on expedited removals.

  12. 10 / 9 / 8 / 5 / 2 all seem interesting. Comment on all but 10 specifically Here are the top 10 reasons a U.S. student visa (F-1, J-1, or M-1) might be revoked or terminated: Failure to Maintain Full-Time Enrollment Students must remain enrolled full-time unless granted special permission. Unauthorized Employment Working off-campus without authorization (e.g., without CPT/OPT for F-1 students) violates visa terms. Academic Dismissal or Suspension Poor grades, cheating, or violations of school policies can lead to dismissal — and loss of visa status. Overstaying the Visa Staying in the U.S. beyond the grace period after a program ends can result in visa revocation. Criminal Activity Any criminal charges, including DUI, drug possession, theft, or violent offenses, can lead to revocation. Failure to Report Changes Not reporting changes in address, school, or program to your Designated School Official (DSO) can result in status loss. Providing False Information Lying on your visa application or providing fake documents can cause immediate revocation. Disengagement from Classes If you stop attending classes (even if technically enrolled), you can fall out of status. Violation of School Rules or Honor Codes Academic dishonesty or behavioral issues can get you expelled and affect your visa. National Security or Immigration Enforcement Reasons If a student is suspected of having ties to prohibited organizations or activities, the U.S. government can revoke their visa immediately.
  13. Welcome to the show. WKN will be along shortly. He already has a document made to answer your question...
  14. 2025 Silva may still beat 2025 Nickal...
  15. Did Biden ever say he didn't know if he was supposed to uphold the constitution? I'm finding it very hard for anyone here to answer a simple yes or no question.
  16. So Anderson Silva. In 2011 prime. Would lose to prime Bo Nickal of a few weeks ago ? yes or no answers please.
  17. He's jerking chains fellas. Here's his post from the deplorable section over in the NWT forum...
  18. Time for some regression analysis Take all the performers and their seeds and see if there is a relationship between seed and under/over performance. A #1 seed can never overperform, but is a 32 seed more likely to over-perform than an 8 seed? Is there an optimum seed for overperforming?
  19. 1) your quote said "tears up our university campus." Sounds like damaging property or educational opportunity not politics.
  20. 1) The reason Rubio gave is definitionally political - 'social activist.' If they committed a crime, they should be charged and tried. They have not - because many of the students being deported weren't involved in any of the trespassing or destruction of property. 2) Of course. Tons of people are living here illegally. When have I said otherwise?
  21. So you acknowledge that it wasn't political and also that there are folks residing in our country that shouldn't be here.
  22. They could also just be a high schooler taking advice from BJJ people and asking for other opinions. However the bolded part is a good question - what is OP trying to get out of wrestling? Forget what it's called, forget what some "let me lie down to fight while I insult every combat sport except my own" jabroni said - what do you want from wrestling, OP? If it's "self defense" then absolutely, unequivocally, without a doubt wrestling helps you. Is it the only thing that helps you, or even the best thing, I'd say no. But if you learn to wrestle AND learn how to strike AND learn how to disarm someone then you will be a powerful force if the need ever arises (also remember "Avoiding Fights" is a crucial skill as well). I truly can't imagine needing to defend myself and choosing to lie down. BJJ is weird.
