Why are insurance companies leaving Florida? The big question is: Why are insurance companies pulling out of Florida? The reasons behind the home insurance crisis in Florida are complicated, but several key factors have a big impact. Soaring litigation costs. The Insurance Information Institute (Triple-I) published a brief on the Florida insurance crisis. It noted that a 2017 State Supreme Court decision allows courts to award a plaintiff's attorneys two to two-and-a-half times their hourly billing rate when courts rule in favor of policyholders. The result is more lawsuits. Triple-I says Florida accounts for 79% of insurance lawsuits filed, with only 21% in the rest of the country. An increasing number of reinsurers who have chosen to retreat from the state in the face of rising litigation. The Florida market is home to several smaller insurers who rely heavily on reinsurers and the booming housing market along coastal counties, which are more prone to flooding and hurricanes. Severe weather. Those hurricanes are incredibly costly; Hurricane Ian caused $113 billion in damage and Hurricane Helene and Milton caused billions more. The bottom line? Florida homeowners are projected to pay higher rates and find it more difficult to get coverage at all as Florida insurance companies in trouble look to reduce risk or leave altogether. https://www.insurance.com/home-and-renters-insurance/home-insurers-leaving-florida You just knew it had something to do with the government.

Ben's situation is terrible. ECMO requires anti-coagulants at very high levels. You need to keep clots from forming without inducing a brain bleed. Titration is difficult as situations can develop quickly. ECMO, by it's very nature, induces clotting in the blood stream. Micro clots get stuck in the lungs and the brain and there's not much you can do about it. These brain injuries stack up and the longer you're on ECMO, the more damage you take. The only thing worse than ECMO is needing it and not getting it. I was a bit surprised he was even listed given his condition and I doubt he's listed at 1A or 1B status. Organ transplant is a long, ugly road and I hope he and his family come out of it OK.

Nope, but I thought it was interesting that he basically said that Belichick's GF was a part of the reason AJ didn't get admitted into school.

No, I don't. While liberal, I'm not nearly as extreme as some of these people.

I hope Cael admits he is running a win at all cost program, and then does the Hulk Hogan/NWA heal turn and says," and there is nothing anyone can do about it, we are still going to win." Then all the PSU fans stop crying about "PSU haters" every time someone doesn't think they walk on water and embrace being hated like Iowa used to in the 90s,walk around with their chest out and don't care what everyone else thinks. Print 5 on 2 t-shirts with PED needles on them that read, "it's only illegal if you get caught... 13 time NCAA Champs!"

When will the wrestling community admit there's a problem?

I hate all the negative things coming out in the wrestling community. That said, unfortunately there are bad and good in all walks of life. Doesn’t matter profession or status. Predators will prey in their environment. These are problems that occur everywhere. I agree with flying cement. -
And rape him too.

I'd like to see all the wrestlers and fans (ok not all the fans just the best fans) transfer to Arkansas Little Rock. No need for coaches they've got a good staff ... ok if Nick Lee wants to go he's not in the mess. The new chant shall be: We Are ... A Little Rock!
