mspart Posted May 2, 2023 Share Posted May 2, 2023 Here's a question. Knowing Lee's history of injury, is anyone actually surprised he didn't finish the NCAA tourney? I wasn't . But I am kind of surprised he didn't finish the US Nationals. He must have been hurting. I did see his last match on youtube and he was 9-0 at the half and did not score 2nd period, did not really even come close. Note the way he walked off the mat at break, didn't attempt any quick movement off left leg in second period and the way he walked off after. Cael didn't lose any. That was a long time. Has there ever been anyone at lightweight as dominant as Lee? I know he took a couple Ls at U17s but to my eyes, he is markedly better at folkstyle, where he can push the pace and work his top game.
