For wrestling the Pac-12 will still have WSU, Oregon State, CSUB, Cal Poly, and UALR - for now. ASU will have a new home in the Big12, but maybe Stanford will re-affiliate for wrestling? There was talk of the non-revenue sports staying out West to save on travel but I don't recall if it was Stanford/ACC. Cal Bap, AFA, NoCo, UVU would be a nice geographical fit if they wanted to reaffiliate with the "new" Pac. Saves the Big12 schools a little bit on treks out to and from the likes of CA, WV, ND.

I'm very happy for Carr, but what a travesty for MM's run to end on a mental lapse like that. The tides were clearly turning in the third period in favor of Mesenbrink and he took his foot off the pedal in the last 25 seconds or so. This match is an example of where Carl's hands-off approach doesn't work. He says he trusts his guys to do their thing without him having to constantly shout instructions from the corner, but the PSU coaches should've been jumping up and down, shouting, signaling, anything to MM that he needed to GO. It's sad, and it reminds me a little of J'Den Cox missing out on his chance for a gold medal in Rio because he didn't know he was losing by criteria.

Has there been any interviews with him or the coaches? It looked like he was unaware that Carr had RT on him late in the 3rd period. Tragic freshman mistake if so.
